I've tried other products, and polident and poligrip both work the best for me.
Like anything else, it is a matter of personal preference. Good luck.

As far as the gagging goes, that does happen. It could be because
they are loose (mine gagged me for that reason). He needs to call
his dentist, because the dentist has alot of tricks he can do to
make it easier. But he does not need to panic! Once they fit him
right, and he gets used to them (easier to do when they fit
properly), he will eventually reach the point where he doesn't even
notice them anymore.
