First of all, tell him to take a deep breath and calm down. Eating with them at
first is like eating with a snow shovel in your mouth. As far as the gagging
goes, that does happen. It could be because they are loose (mine gagged me for
that reason). He needs to call his dentist, because the dentist has alot of
tricks he can do to make it easier. But he does not need to panic! Once they fit
him right, and he gets used to them (easier to do when they fit properly), he
will eventually reach the point where he doesn't even notice them anymore.

My boyfriend just got his upper dentures last night and he is totally
panicked. He can't eat at all. They don't stay in, they're loose,
they make him gag. Can anyone talk to me about this?
