Re: [Denture_Dentures] Re: I'm Back

I keep mine clean by soaking them overnight (or for a minimum of 15 minutes, as
per instructions), and hubby says he has not noticed any odor from them. Also,
when I have my plate out, I make sure to brush all around my mouth (not just my
real bottom teeth) with Colgate Total; that does a great job of controlling
odor. If my top plate is in (and from what I've heard, DO NOT brush your denture
with regular toothpaste) I'll use my tongue to swish some toothpaste up around
my top plate. Hope that helps.

Well having a denture is one thing. how about taking care of your
dentures? how do you guys take care of yours? Some friends of mine
say that soaking it in vinegar at night helps in keeping bacterias
away...but isnt that kinda gross? i here some denture cleaner like
polident works well,do you guys know anything about it?

Mexico (they did a good job), so I don't know how dentists in the
U.S. do it. LOL
