Getting a denture is a difficult time, for most people. It is frightening,
wondering if you'll ever be able to do things like eat, speak, smile, etc.
normally again. Before I got mine, when I first sat down to write my first post
to this group (back in Oct.) I started shaking so badly I had to stop typing to
get a grip on myself. There were no tears, but I was a total and complete basket
case the week before my appointment for an immediate upper denture. I could not
believe that I, at the age of 26, had to get an upper denture. I felt like a
failure, humiliated, all those things. I sent the angry reply last night,
because I felt that, if I'd gotten a note from you like that before I got my
denture, it would have seemed horribly insensitive, whether you intended it to
or not. I'm sure it is difficult to find someone with dentures, since most
people certainly don't advertise the fact. It just seems like there has to be a
better way for you to do that. Are there any chat rooms, or
dating groups? Try searching under "denture fetish" and maybe that will give
you some promising areas to try to find the woman you are looking for. I can
understand that you are interested in this, it just seems like there must be a
better place to look for potential girlfriends.
