Re: [Denture_Dentures] Yet another newbie

Dave,

I don't know anything about extractions in multiples more than two. I do know
that in the past year I had two teeth extracted and after quite a long
period, almost a year, am the proud bearer of two implants with crowns.

My dentist of choice for these extraction/implant procedures is an
accomplished oral surgeon who specializes in implants. He is not the first
specialist I
went to, however. I had a problem with the periodontist who was originally to
do the implants and refused to continue under his care. If you are
uncomfortable with the approach that your dentist is taking, for whatever
reason, I
suggest you find someone else. I don't even go to a regular dentist anymore;
mine
was a disaster and I am living with the results of that disaster. All of my
care is now supervised by a prosthodontist, whose work and dedication is superb.

Rhonda
