Hi All
I just joined this group today. I went for impressions this morning
for temporary upper and lower partial dentures. I am having 5 teeth
pulled in front on the bottom and 3 pulled in back on the top on 6/1.
I already am missing 3 teeth in the back from previous extractions.
The plan is to wear the temporaries for about a month, then get
impressions for my permanent partials. (I hope this is long enough) I
am wondering if anyone here has experience with "Valplast" flexible
dentures? This is what my dentist uses and I was wondering if anyone
had any comments, thoughts, pro's or con's???
BTW...I'm 47 with pretty advanced peridontal disease (eventhough I
have been treated by a periodontist for over 10 years and am pretty
good at my home care I am still faced with losing a number of teeth
with significant bone loss!)
