I had never heard of adjustable dentures, either. I had asked how long
I'd need to wait for fitting back in December, and he had told me not
long. That's when he had said there was some "thing" about them that
would compensate for changes in the gums.
Thanks for the tip on candy! I don't eat it often, but a good, gooey
caramel is one weakness of mine- guess those days are over. {;)
I had not heard about any kind of whitening treatment for dentures,
but it makes perfect sense. I drink a lot of coffee, and in the summer
I drink tea by the gallon. Not to mention mulberries, blueberries, all
those wonderful things that tend to color fingers and mouths. <G>
Since that season is fast approaching, that was timely information!
It seems a matter of personal preference, as to whether one takes
their teeth out at night or not. I suppose there are pros and cons
both ways?
