Yes, you can leave the partial in water all the time but why? You
did not buy it to leave it on display. In order for your top denture
to work right it has to have something to bite against.
Make an appointment with the dentist any time you don't things are
going right. Your gums and mouth will be sore and it will take time
for this to go away but sometimes it will not if there is something
rubbing from the denture- only the dentist can fix this.
Right now you are going through probably the toughest part of the
whole denture experience- the pain of the extractions, the pain of
the new plates, the emotional pain of losing your teeth and all the
associated fears and unknowns. This is why it is so important to
have the dentures fitting as perfectly as they can be. Your dentist
knows this so hold him to it.
