Sherry, I only have an upper denture so I am not the best person to answer your
questions, but I will say that I have had very little trouble with sore spots
and when one is on the roof of my mouth, I file the high spot down with a
fingernail file. I get a new denture every few years when my old one gets loose
-- maybe I should just get a reline, but I like to have a spare anyway.
