I just had my four top front teeth pulled on Thursday and now have a
partial denture. My two biggest problems are:
1)My back teeth are not meeting together, thus, I can not chew. I
have been eating pudding, yogurt and such, waiting for the dentist
office to open Monday morning.
2)One of my main reasons for getting this done was to be able to
smile again. But the "gum" part of the denture between my lip and
nose is so short that if I smile too big I am baring all! Granted, I
was used to hiding bad teeth but I don't want to hide my new smile.
Is it possible to get that part of the denture lengthened a little
so it is not so obvious?
Any advice is appreciated.
