hi
actually over the past 20 years spent 10 in upper level management 5 in adult
icu and 2 in pediatrics and 3 in neonatal intensive care.....donea littl bit of
everthing..
28 percent sounds low....i had surgery that was 89000 medicare paid 48..so its
not really a percentage but a fixe rate...yu can ask any doc if he will take
insurance assignment........you rright about over priced...imy implants were
52000..

From Deb and to Deb .....just so everyone can see who is interested ...
Hi Deb ...so you are an RN in the general medical field? .. I didn't think that
medicare would pay for dental(can you imagine the hyper-infated-costs then
??..!!) ... but in the regular medical - is that 28% figure correct? ..
"Assignment" ? ... this term is used also in the dental field when dealing with
Delta or other plans? I have never approached a dentist about this .. but I
really should. The dental charges(not the dentures themselves-they have been
reasonable) that I have seen and been quoted are uNreal....and I honestly feel
are way out-of-line. ... Eric

...Through typical dental insurance .. what percentage of the bill is paid
...and is considered payment-in-full ?(I ask this since today I was informed
that Medicare only pays typically 28% of the bill)

extractions or many mini or regular implants ... how do you get them to disount
