Crooked ! My entire denture was and I was arguing with them the minute I came
out of the sedative ! The told me your swollen, your lips are swollen and numb,
I said, sure they are but my eyes are working just fine ! So the next day when I
went back I stood my ground, and they did several adjustments both the the
actual teeth on the denture and to the liner until I was happy. I'm paying a
total of $8000 out of pocket over the next 4 months and the only persons
happiness that matters is mine and I made that very clear, very nicely to them.
I went back 6 times in 11 days for adjustments and they have been very good and
nice to me. So maybe take a before and after picture in and stand your ground.
On eating, not so sure 3 weeks will = pizza, it's day 14 and I'm still on eggs,
rice, pudding,smashed meatballs lol - I can not even eat pasta without tears
springing into my eyes. But that has been the only downside so far.
Do you get the occassional sudden numbness in your gums/ cheek area's.

because I could only drink shakes. I think it took me about 3 weeks before I
could really eat anything. Especially pizza. I could eat everything but the
crust.. (the best part)But it is slowly getting better. I have a facebook
account, and have a group on there called: Got Dentures? if you or anyone else
would like to join it. It's good to know there are people going through the same
things that you are. No matter what the age! :)
