Hi there. Thanks for sharing your experiences with everyone. I am 31 years old
and have an full upper and a bottom partial for about 5 weeks now. I just got
back from my dentist because they had to remake my partial. It took them three
times because they could not get my bite right. I have some concerns with my
upper. The teeth themselves are straight but the "mouth piece" is crooked. They
say that my mouth is shaped like that when I know good and well that it isn't.
I know how you feel with the eating ordeal. The first week I lost 10 lbs.
because I could only drink shakes. I think it took me about 3 weeks before I
could really eat anything. Especially pizza. I could eat everything but the
crust.. (the best part)But it is slowly getting better. I have a facebook
account, and have a group on there called: Got Dentures? if you or anyone else
would like to join it. It's good to know there are people going through the same
things that you are. No matter what the age! :)
