Hi Jennifer.
You should not be anxious if you have a dentist who cares and a competent dental
technician to make your dentures.
I am very much younger than you. I am now 21 and had all teeth pulled 14th of
may 2007 when I was 19yrs old.
The reason was a life threatening infection that attacked the ligaments holding
the teeth to the bone. and the week afterI had to amputate both legs below the
knee.
Well enough of that. Dentures are many times used to give a face lift they can
make them to compensate for shrinking and other deficiencies. Before I had my
teeth pulled I did not even have a filling and the teeth were as the best
hollywood smile. Therefore for me it was not difficult to have dentures because
they looked as my natural teeth. Dentures can be made exactly as you want them
to be. But it is very important that you tell the dentist exactly how you want
your teeth to be and if you have a photo of your teeth earlier or on another
person its easier to keep up with your wishes. Its not that big difference to
make teeth natural looking than as if they were straight , even and false
looking.
I am a very happy denture wearer. I can eat whatever I want and talk without
difficulty. I am fortunate that I had 100% bone and the gums are very good. Now
after 2 years I like having dentures, strange as it may sound. I have no pain,
they look gorgeous and dental hygiene is very easy to have and I can choose my
smile anytime I want.
I wish you good luck
Karen

Do you see in difference in your face structure.
I have been doing alot of research and alot of dentist say that dentures ages a
persons face by years immediatley. How do you feel?
I am 31 now and so scared that I will loose my youthfulness.
Im so full of life right now but will I still feel that way after I get them.
After you got your teeth did you continue to do you normal routine once you
were al healed.
Can you eat ok?
Do they ever or have they ever just fallen out?
Thank you so much for responding jennifer

lots of people in my family have dentures too...including my 35 year old brother
who got them when he was 32...neither one of us regret it for a minute...you
will adjust...stay strong and do what you know is right for your health...Jonell

Is there anyone in this group in there late 2o's or early 3o's who has dentures.
I really need some support.
I am about to be 32 and have to get top dentures. My first impression has
already been taken for my temporaries and I go back in a week for another
impression. Im becoming more and more depressed everyday just thinking about the
day when they actually pull my teeth. My tops are so bad that in order to save
them without dentures I need 9000 for crowns and more for root canals on all 11
of my top teeth. so i have opted to go dentures just like every one else in my
family.
