Thank you for your response, I have been back to him twiced to have
adjustments, and he pulled a piece of bone out but now I have another
piece coming back through which is on my right side, but now my left
side is hurting when I do try and eat, so I have been back on soup
and rinsing with salt water. I am just ready to give up.

Don't give up. It will honestly get better. The bone chips can be a pain
in the rear end and the top end as well. If you can stand to do it pop some
chewing gum in your mouth and chew away on it. It will pull the bone shards
out pretty painless. If you can do it your self you can reach in with
tweezers and pull them as well but the chewing gum is easier.
The left side of your mouth may be getting sore because you are
concentrating your chewing on that side and causing uneven wear on your mouth.
Try
really hard to use both sides at the same time right now to keep dentures from
floating and rubbing. Keep up with your warm salt water, and soups. It won't
last forever. Some things I ate while adjusting were egg salad sandwiches,
mashed potatoes, lots of ramen noodles and pasta. If you need to and havent
already take your dentures out to eat for a few meals just to give your mouth a
break. There is no harm or shame in doing that. Eventually you will
increase the lenght of time you can wear them and eat with them as your mouth
become less sore. It takes time to heal completely. The worst should be over
by
now, but it will take more then a month to totally heal.

Just don't give up. It's hard I know, but it will get better. You may need
more adjustments done before your teeth fit properly. Don't feel like you
are being a bother to your dentist. Just keep going back until each part
feels just right.
