how long will it take for the pain to go away when wearing my
denture? I still can't hardly eat anything yet.
You shouldn't be in severe pain still unless your dentures don't fit proper,
something hasn't healed properly or there are some bone shards still lodged.
Have you told your dentist about the amount of pain you are in?
When I had mine pulled the first couple of days weren't too bad and I just
did soup. But by the following week my lowers hurt so bad I cried thinking
about putting them in my mouth. Went back to the dentist and he did some
checking, did some grinding on them and slipped them back in my mouth. I
actually
had my tears ready to flow, grimace formed on my face and the ouch ouch
wanting to burst out of my throat when suddenly I realized they didn't hurt!.
I think at two or three weeks post pulling I had a real meal at a
restaurant. It's touch and go from time to time that first 6 months, but
really I
don't think you should be in severe pain that is preventing you from eating.
