Hi Christine,

Depending on where you live and the dentists fees,  full mouth
extractions with an upper and lower denture, costs will average
around $5000.  Dentures are nowhere near as efficient or comfortable
as natural teeth.  If you have money for dentures and your teeth are
salvagable I would strongly suggest you salvage your natural
teeth.    I would only recommend dentures if  your mouth is in
constant or persistant pain, if your natural teeth are too expensive
to fix (ie cost twice as much as dentures) or if the loss of your
natural teeth is inevitable within 5 to 10 years.   Your dental
solution might also be in a partial denture so that you can keep
some natural teeth.  See a dentist again and talk to him/her about
the condition of your teeth, the corrective measures needed and the
costs involved for both a restoration of your natural teeth and
dentures.

understanding of the difficulties new denture wearers experience.  
Remember, once your natural teeth are pulled there's not putting
them back in.  Make this decision carefully.  Good luck!
