Hi Jenny,
This group has fallen to the porn purveyors and those with other
similar perversions. Please go to either or both of these groups
instead.
Denture Adventures

or Denture Wearers Anon

Denture Adventures is more strictly moderated and your first posts
may not show up for a few hours but the people and advice at both
groups is good.
Your dentist will likely prescribe a more potent painkiller than
over the counter drugs for you. Keeping milder pain remedies
wouldn't be a bad idea either should the pain not be so bad. Any
soft food that you can swallow without chewing will get you by until
you get a grip on the dentures. Apple sauce, yogurt, oatmeal, ice
cream, "instant breakfast" and yes, soups are good too :-) If you
have a craving for something a little more solid some foods can be
mushed up against the roof of your mouth too. You'll be surprised at
all the foods you can find that don't really need chewing.
Good luck on Thursday. I'll be looking forward to reading your
experiences.

Thursday. Any advice, suggestions, or wisdom? I imagine the first
3-4 days will be pretty rotten. That's really the only part that
I've scared of. Anything I should have on hand like Ibpropen, soup,
etc?
