Hi Icy,

Take it one day at a time. A mouthful of nice looking plastic teeth
is better than unhealthy/unattractive real teeth. The worst is over-
focus on the positive. Be honest with others- if someone asks what
you had done- tell them. If you do not personally know others with
dentures maybe one of your friends or associates will. Nothing beats
a chat with an experienced denture wearer. If nothing else- ask the
dentist if he/she knows of a denture wearer around your age that
they may be able to put you in touch with.
