Discussion group for persons interested in issues related to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias among persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Discussion issues include case inquiries, information about scales, tests, and instruments; issues of assessment and diagnosis; options or models for care management and supports, and any other areas related to the main topic. Comments and inquiries can be from research studies or practice applications. The group is affiliated with the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disabilities' (IASSID) Special Interest Research Group on Aging.
