This list is for people with HSV in Delaware (and nearby) for discussion, questions, friendship and social activities. This site is not meant to be used for dating, however by attending social gatherings you may meet someone. HSV is Herpes Simplex Virus, otherwise known as cold sores or fever blisters.

Every new member will be on moderation until they post and I can tell they are not here to SPAM the group or be a jerk. There may be sexual conversations, flirting, innuendos, and banter... but any member who starts trouble or picks fights will be put back on moderation. We are adults, so we can talk about adult issues (especially if it involves life with HSV), but that also means we are responsible for our own actions.

Delaware Friends is mainly a social group based out of Newark. Other events may take place in other areas depending on who is hosting the event. You may post support-type questions, but if you are in serious need of support, call ASHA, as Philly HELP no longer exists due to low call volume and the monthly support group meeting in Philadelphia closed it doors in Sept 2009 due to lack of attendance. ASHA (American Social Health Association) has a hotline you can call for support at 919.361.8488 from 8am-8pm Eastern.
