10Karats.com - Dating People with Herpes

This group is for live chatting 24/7, posting pictures and for posting information about events within the herpes and HPV community. There are no restrictions other than not using the message board. Message board use tends to keep people out of the chat room. Please spread the word about this group and that its focus is mainly live chat.

Hang out in the chat room for a while if no one is there, give people time to show up.

If someone is being not-so-nice then ignore them - you do have the power. And, when someone isn't acting properly, don't join in because it only fuels their behavior even more. Instead of joining them, rise above their behavior by ignoring them.

If you have an event that you would like to post on the message board, send it to webmaster@10Karats.com and I'll post it for you.

In order for the chat room to keep people in it, I think you have to do more than just pop in and out. Stay in the room while you're on the net and keep checking if anyone is in it.
