Sydney is reaching the 40lb mark and we are looking for a new carseat.  The carseat we have now we bought at recommendations of others, it is a Britax Roundabout and did cost more, but has turned out to be a wonderful easy to clean carseat.  At 40 they can use a booster and seatbelt, but I still feel she should have the 5pt harness, just seems like with their lower tone.  She is 3.5yrs old, any suggestions?
