Denise - We had Independance Day @ house (I had Griffin almost off the bottle
until lil sis was born!) and I threw them all away. We used the spillproof sippy
cups (Gerber brand as I recall) when we were worried about spilling and then an
open cup w/ straw as much as possible. Griffin seemed to do better with a
regular straw than the harder/part of the cup kind - got better suction I think.
Hope that helps.

Subject: [DSANI] Off Bottle
Hi Everyone?Sydney turns 3 in May and we are still ona bottle 3times a day.?
Mostly I was doing this to get her meds in, thenit just became habit. So now Im
trying to get rid of the bottle.? She?sbeen doing really well when we use a
straw, so Ive gotten three different cupswith straws: one that winds around cup,
I think she has to suck to long andgives up; one juice box shaped, but isn?t
spill proof at all; last onetried was a Gerber sport cup that pops up the straw,
but again she has to suck hard..?Any suggestions or ones you found that worked.?
She is starting preschoolin May, what a big girl, and she cant go to school with
a bottleJ
