The group belongs to the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles for parents, siblings and other caregivers of adults with Down syndrome. It is a place to share concerns, get advice, celebrate accomplishments, share contacts and find support. Members must be registerd with the DSALA with their contact info and the name and date of birth of the person with DS they care for in the DSALA data base.

Hi Dana, The HCBS Waiver the the Elderly, Blind and Disabled is equivalent to the IHO-WPCS which California has.  In Home Operations-Waiver Personal Care

Many of us receive IHSS for our adult children. The amounts vary depending on how much assistance they need. You need to apply for it through the L.A. County
