This group welcomes all pre or post-operative patients of any of the doctors, past or present, from of the Laparoscopic Associates of San Francisco (lapsf.com) medical practice. We also welcome those who are researching or have had the Duodenal Switch / Distal Gastric Bypass, the RNY, Vertical Gastrectomy (VG, Sleeve Gastrectomy), or LapBand who wish to discuss, ask questions, get support, lurk, share experiences or update members on their progress.

WLS is a personal and life altering decision. As such, the charter of this group is to foster an environment that offers support, mutual respect, and inclusion, to network information and opinions in an informative, and responsible way, and to assist self-education in order to afford all members in reaching their personal goals.
