RE: [CrocodylusPorusus] Re: injecting IMUSIL/TETRASIL

This is a  prime example of serious to critical misleading incompetence, at best, from an "MD". At worst, as far as I'm concerned, it is intentionally false, and because of the potential sever consequences, a crime against humanity.

First of all there is a "Terms of use" disclaimer at the bottom, which reads as follows: "Experts appearing on this page are independent and are solely responsible for editing and fact-checking their material." Clearly indicating that NO ONE responsible for the web site takes any responsibility for checking the validity of any statements or content posted by any "Expert".

So, here we have, what appears to be, a sincere person asking a question about a serious health problem that she and her husband need help with. Followed by a response from a "Dr. Pierone" (Gerald Pierone, MD from the "AIDS Research & Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast).

From the content of the text under "Tetrasil for Vaginitis?" the inquiry is in regards to Tetrasil ointment for the topical treatment to the "vaginosis areas" for "reoccurent bacterial infections".

In the "Response from Dr. Pierone", he begins with the statement "Based on the Tetrasil literature (cures AIDS, cancer, and even vaginitis!)", in which it is clear that he is either professionally incompetent, which amounts to mal-practice, in being confused about the different between the Tetrasil literature for the injection, and the Tetrasil literature for the ointment, or intentionally being misleading (to help sell whatever he's selling?).

The Tetrasil injection product, which no one needs to "steer clear of" BECAUSE it is not available. The "literature" for which is available on the Internet from the US Patent Office, file # 5,676,977 under the title Method of curing AIDS with tetrasilver tetroxide molecular crystal devices - also see the "Files" of this forum.

The Tetrasil ointment and literature are available from and on the website of the patent holder's company, which originally was Marantech,  and is now Ai or Aidance at http://www.tetrasil.com/index.html. No where there do they claim that the ointment will cure AIDS, as Pierone wrote in the first sentence of his "Response".

The complete text of the question and response are below, between the horizontal lines.

it does appear as though they may have other useful information there http://www.thebody.com/Forums/AIDS/Meds/Archive/SideEffects/Q161893.html, but this example makes it clear that one needs to check it out carefully.

Tetrasil for Vaginitis?
Dec 28, 2004

I have read your conversations about Tetrasil and HIV, however I was looking into this product to help cure and prevent my reoccurent bacterial infections.Tetrasil's active bio-electro chemistry (TSTTM) surrounds the vaginosis areas and quickly begins to attack the bacteria that causes the unpleasant odor, itching and/or burning. As Tetrasil's electrical energy kills the bacteria (this is what the product claims). I have had only 1 sexual partner in the last 2years. Does he need to be treated? I am becomming desperate. I have been tested for every STD and about 3years ago I was told I had vaginal herpes but have never had a sympton since. The odor and discharge is embarrasing. I have been prescibed Metro-Gel vaginal as well as pills but this never seems to go away. Prior to this I was having reoccurent yeast. I have tried no soap, no baths, clear detergents. My doctor can not pinpoint my problem, are there tests he can do? Do you know of any solutions? I am stuck with this? Can Tetrasil help? Please help

Response from Dr. Pierone

Based on the Tetrasil literature (cures AIDS, cancer, and even vaginitis!) I would steer clear of this agent.

Many women with vulvo-vaginitis are not properly evaluated and instead are given empiric antibiotics or anti-fungals. A pelvic examination, wet mount of vaginal secretions (microscopic exam), vaginal culture in some cases (like yours), is usually able to pinpoint the cause. If you have (or have had) Trichomoniasis, then your partner should be treated as well since men can serve as a reservoir for re-infection. You did not mention your immune status, but a low CD4 count could be reason for continuing problems. When women with low counts are treated with HAART and have reconstitution of the immune system we often see resolution of chronic vaginal infections. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Greetings, The bad news is, unfortunately, I do not know of any way that anyone can receive the Tetrasil/Imusil, at this particular time. I consider that fact ...
