Re: Digest Number 42

Hi Steve,

I thought the mycoplasma or mycophage was a virus genetically linked
to a fungus( artificially), hence my use of the term mycophage, but I
don't really know which it is called. I hesitate to bring home a
specimen to try various remedies for it. I am fairly sure that I
contracted an illness from the initial spraying around May of this
year, and I have done battle with it most of the summer. I first used
antibiotics, then I used the 'zapper' of Dr. Hulda Clark fame, then I
took colloidal silver, then more antibiotics, then a parasite
cleanse, then finally more antibiotics. I am still tired (although
getting up at 5:30am for work everyday might have something to do
with this) and still a bit congested, but much better, now. I still
am planning a liver cleanse and a kidney cleanse- these can only
help. After reading the material about hydrogen peroxide, I am
inclined to try it as well, as it is effective against fungi, and
various other invasive microorganisms.

I am fairly certain that these mushrooms are the fruit of the
mycoplasma. They have all turned white now- when first spotted, they
were chocolate brown caps (somewhat ressembling false morels) with
the phage or plasma (white)radiating from the stem area in streams.
The gills were yellow, spotted with brown. The stems were spotted
yellow as well- stems and gills similar in appearance to the variety
known as chantarelles. I did not do a spore print as I suspected that
these were the fruit of the mycoplasm and feared reinfection. On only
one of them now, there is still a portion of brown that is covered
with a type of gel. The other hundreds are all white and shrinking,
as if the virus was consuming them. This one is still large. I wonder
if the mushroom portion of the one organism is trying to combat the
virus.

A number of people at work have been off sick lately, but the
illnesses have not been as severe as the ones contracted in the
spring. It would appear that the spores of the offspring are not as
virulent as the parent spores. This is not certain, however. It's
been one week since I first noticed them.

The incubation period of my initial illness was 2 weeks- I think.
We'll see what happens. I touched one of the mushrooms before I
realized what it may be. And I used a stick to turn one over to see
the gills and stem. I did sterilize my hands afterwards, but...

Any suggestions as to what to do with them?

Marilyn
