Hi, my name is melody and I have not bought the book yet, but read about the
diet in Womens Weekly, I have not even cut out all the foods that need to go
yet, and still I have lost weight just by substituting coconut oil in my diet.
If youfeel like cheating go ahead, because I have found that by doing so you
will eventually not want that chocolate, and I am very much into herbs as well.
If you can get PH GREENZONE from a herbalist, this suff looks gross, but you
eventually aquire the taste for it, and it balances out your blood sugar and you
will not want to crave for all the wrong stuff that puts on weight. I take it
twice a day. It really does help. Also take GOTU KOLA. It is also a chinese herb
and helps with nerves and blood circulation, which in turn helps to disolve all
our ugly cellulite. You should exercise along with it and boy do you feel good.
Love to all and good luck with the weight loss

Hello Coconut Dieters,
I'm just wondering how you are all doing on your diet. I have plateaued at
15 pounds.now I have added exercising. I do free weights 3 x week and I got
myself a rebounder (trampoline) and am loving it. So I may be gaining some
muscle and therefore don't see the pound loss, but I do feel better and my
clothes fit better.
I have been successful at eliminating all wheat products.that I have under
control. But sometimes, just sometimes.I get that chocolate urge that I
cannot resist.
Does anybody else have these urges and how does it affect you when you
cheat?
Thanks for your input.

Hello Amanda & Cheryl,
I am new here too (last Friday).I have followed the diet for about a month
and as previously stated in an earlier email I used to feel very sluggish,
tired, often depressed and unable to move any of the weight, but after just
3 days I felt so much better. It's now been over a month and I have lost 11
pounds with no exercise (I intend to add exercise now that I am feeling
better). Coconut oil has helped me stay on the diet with no cravings for
the junk I used to love and that's a miracle, trust me, I was the ultimate
chocoholic. I am now a cocoholic!! (-:
Cheryl, after reading Cherie Calbom's book I realized that I had hypothyroid
symptoms too. I had been tested about 5 years ago and they said I was fine,
but during the following years I realized that I had more and more symptoms
of hypothyroidism and am now really eager to see more results as I continue
my journey hand in hand with coconut oil! BTW.I do love it as a hand and
body lotion also.it is wonderful on cracked heels, makes them as soft as can
be!
I got a stressed out this past weekend and fell off the coconut wagon for
one day, but got right back on the next day, so don't get discouraged if
this happens to you, we are only human.
I am truly looking forward to spring and summer this year with renewed
energy and less pounds!
Cheryl, please keep us posted as to how you see the diet helping your
thyroid problem because this is very crucial to weight lose and a lot of
women suffer from it.
Hope to hear more from you all soon.keep up the great work.we'll get there!!
SMILE
Judy

Hello Amanda and welcome.
I officially started my coconut diet today. I had been using the coconut oil
sporadically for about a year, but today I am following Cherie Calbom's book
as close as possible. I have about 50 to 60 pounds to lose and a hypothyrod
problem to help.
I am hoping soon we all have a great testimony to share about this diet.
