I just want to take a moment to welcome the members who joined EVA and CoDependents this past week, and to give them a brief rundown on how the groups work currently:
My name is Terri. I am the list owner/moderator of both groups. Due to computer and AC/Compressor troubles, I am unable to run the groups as I normally would (i.e., I am no longer in the position to spend a few hours each day reading/approving posts from members). This is why no one can post to either EVA or CoDependents at this time.
However, there are many helpful articles, links, etc. in the archives of each group (just log into your Yahoo! Groups ID and click on "Messages" and then "Oldest"). You may also be able to make a new friend or two by e-mailing each other.
I still periodically post myself either to add articles, links, etc. or sometimes even just to vent. Members have been wonderful about listening to me since I've listened to so members throughout the years myself. I am deeply appreciative of those who have returned this courtesy!
On a final note, I don't know when the groups will be functioning again so please don't ask. Just help yourself to whatever material aids you on your journey to recovering from abuse and codependency. Thank you!
