Evidence has repeatedly shown disparity in the treatment of women in pain as opposed to men. Despite women having more pain disorders they are often given short shrift, being told their pain is "imaginary", from stress, or they exaggerating or malingering.
They get less medication, including opiods, although statistics show they actually need higher levels then men.
What do you think about this? And what, if anything do you think we, PWPI. should try and do about it?
