Dear Lauro and all Colleagues as well:
How great it is that you have replied here.
I am reminding myself that it is absolutely so that I should have been thinking some people do not use Internet links, or could have vision issues as far as email is concerned. Even with the link, the document is a p d f file and even more so in two columns and unorthodox type font. I had not seen it for many years - keep reminding us please where ease of access and use issues arise! Of course.
I am delighted to send you this poem separately to your email address and in the 14 point Arial font we usually use on other lists. And left adjusted, in one column.
May I also ask eagerly and with pleased expectations do you have facilities to read lines out loud, perhaps in the DAISY system you can teach us about? In addition to physical accessibility issues, I should add a warning that the language in the poem is indeed that of poetics with some little inside literature jokes and such so we can discuss it off line if you ever wish.
Because the ease of current communications, I should be able to send you our Colleague in the Philippines this material by tomorrow or shortly after that. I hope you will enjoy it.
In the meantime you might wish to send your email first to me and I'll be pleased for forward it because that mozilla or other computer code we saw elsewhere is peeking again, at least here, and we can edit it out for now and send it on to the lists.
And also there are wonderful and talented people here by the way who might have technical suggestions on that.
With a happy heart, Linda.

Dear Collegues in Communications Areas:
Sometimes people ask, what were computers used for as far as text before email and word processing?
I came upon a 1981 published mock epic poem of mine still on The Net and which is some aspects is e-documentary, and prefaced later times when such applications as legal and business etc. began to do concordances and indices from input electronic documents.
To read "Concordiad," and share any thoughts - offline if you wish - scroll down a bit; thought you might like to visit the final edition of SIGLASH (Assoc. For Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Language).
