Reflecting with some sorrow on Tanya's (messenger only) quite informing note of yesterday, her list inspires contemplation on the essence of being a person.
We are not far from issues of identity and the right to exist when at issue are advance concessions as to with whom one associates in intimate quarters, how the body is clothed for protection and warmth, how communication is allowed and to whom, decisions of all sorts on daily living. Come on back Franklyn and Tanya on this please, it seems fearsome if others think so.
Again thinking that the U.N. Convention (Treaty) might be one on Respect for Persons with Disabilities - whereas its abuse is a core of much concern.
It would be, to use our now familiarizing term "stunning." And perhaps spring the world to its senses as far as self-concept preservation and the right to it.
Also thinking about FWP's work on contact conditioning. Does the list we see not suggest a preemption of contact decisions. (Perhaps the author will post in his own words, always best). What happens at the interfaces (the boundaries) is so important. A light touch of support or harsh pruning of Selfhood.
Thoughts, LDMF.

I have an idea that an exploration could be done that documented this occurrence via a review of common law going back a certain number of years. Do you have a specific plan, yet? It would take some time and elbow grease! Good thinking, Linda!
