Mr. Baker:
Yesterday, I already tried to E-mail you at your the following E-
mail Address: skip@... but it came back to me; it read
Unkown 500 or something like that. I am desperately trying to reach
you for assistance. My daughter, Erika, is a chronic pain patient who
has been promised to be taken on by a pain doctor and now he finds
that he cannot take someone on parenteral dilaudid becuase he is
scared of the DEA and FBI. I am sooooo sick of hearing these doctors
say that they are afraid of these two law enforcement agencies; why
don't they band together as doctors and stand up to these people?
Their patients would support them.
My daughter is now down to her two prescribtions of parenteral
dilaudid which is two weeks worth; after that she will probably kill
herself some night when I am at work. She is beautiful and could be
full of life if only given the chance. I am a registered nurse and we
both want to be active in helping chronic pain patients and are to a
certain extent; Erika and I run an Online support group for the
Endometriosis Association and we call it Endo Sisters on AOL. If you
are interested in checking it out for yourself and/or you know of
someone who has or who has had Endo (Endometriosis) please feel free
to go to AOL and type in http://groups.aol.com/endonomore. Please
make sure that you read the Messages and Photos. We started this
Online support group and so far we have fifteen members. We hope that
after the holidays are over with that many more will join. Word of
mouth seems to be the best because AOL doesn't allow advertising.
Erika is the Founder and I am the Co-founder and nurse consultant
(RN) for Endo Sisters. She has so many opportunities in life and
cannot take them because of the horrible chronic pain. She is
accepted at a college and has modeling opportunties but she has had
to put them on hold or turn them down because of the horrible chronic
pain. She can no longer work as a flight attendant because of the
severe pain. We have found doctors to do the surgery she needs but
she needs a pain doctor first to run that end of her care. She very
depressed at this point and I do not want to loose my daughter. She
does not really want to die, but she says that she cannot live in
this horrendous pain either. This is not a choice she or anyone
should have to make.
Someday, Erika and I would like to go before U.S. Congress and
Testify about the issue of chronic pain, etc. Erika already has names
of people who would be willing to Testify with us. However, we do not
know how to Testify before U.S. Congress, etc. We would love to
attend ASAP and make this a joint plight.
We really would like to talk with you; would you please call us?
Of course, you may E-mail me at FenderstratG1968@... and/or Erika
at Endoempress@..., and/or at Assertivewoman1@.... and we
could provide you with our home telephone number and talk about this
situation is complicated that we would both love to talk with you
about it.
I thank you for taking the time out of your extremly busy
schedule to read and I hope respond to this E-mail. Thank you for any
assistance you can give to us; we are both desperate at this point.
Sincerely,
Lynda Lutz, RN, Mother, Caretaker, and (RN) nurse consultant for Endo
Sisters
