Greetings all:
I have had some good phone conversations with Bob Gaffney. Both we are in the same geographic area, and we share some goals and have different bases so it will be great to work together. More re Bob (please loan us a brief bio as your background and foreground are too rich for me to attempt a paraphrase). Thank you Paul for making the connections. There will be a Westchester based meeting soon.
I wish to add that I was much moved by Bob asking me if I would need some accomodations or assistance to attend a meeting. I felt able to discuss my weather-related issues as to trigeminal neuralgia and neuropathic pain, Causalgia (RSD) and ways I get around that. Wasn't that compassionate though; do not all of us find joy accomodatrng to situations and having allies in these "ventures.".
Whether defined as disabled, felt to be disabled, perceived as disabled, or not in any of these operational groupings. - are we not all aboard the same space ship. Thanks all as we accommodate each other, that is, adjust to diversity.
What a privilege!
Best wishes and C U soon, :) LDMF.
