For those with vision problems and the community at large, this is a very interesting resource free online from the National Library of Medicine; the link has been circulating recently. The DocMorph/MyMorph website is quite rich..
Not only does it inter-convert document types such as images to pdf,
but it also converts text to speech.
I have not tried the document to document morphing yet. But the speech software downloaded quickly for me and with a few clicks to select the menu option of text-to-speech, I was listening to a file on my computer being read aloud. The result can be surprising!
