  • THE DISABILITY RIGHTS ACTIVIST A lot is happening at the federal level with legislation and regulations that affects the lives of disabled people. Unfortunately we are seeing a backlash against the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). There is more and more information available for people to take action in support of the rights of people with disabilities but it is, for the most part, scattered across the Web. THE DISABILITY RIGHTS ACTIVIST brings together much of the information needed to enable anyone interested in the rights of disabled people to work for those rights. In my work in developing THE DISABILITY RIGHTS ACTIVIST, indeed in all my work for disability rights, I am guided by the words of Mahatma Gandhi - "Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it."
