'ChronicPainCooperate,''a [CPC] Forum on [http://www.onelist.com] as of 2-25-99, aims to ease *communications* among Chronic Pain Patients and Medical or other Health Field Caregivers; all concerned with the very serious depletions wrought by pain in its physical, psychological, and social aspects.

This email-based-hub exists for Patients to hone their communication skills and pool them; it also invites involved Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Staffs, Pharmacists and representatives of Insurance and Legal Fields, as well as Hospitals (In-patient, Out-patient, Emergency or Retirement Facilities). You are welcome here whether you consider yourself Traditional, Complementary, Alternative, or singularly styled, and whether you consider yourself adequately treated at this time or under-treated, adequately resourced or funded, or in plain need of upgrade.

This list begins as an open one in the Spirit of Community. There is much we can accomplish by the Millenium and beyond.


Clear communication and a critical mass of those willing to outreach to others regardless of specific condition or affiliation will surely bring with it increased comfort and understanding.

We will suggest, design, implement and test suggested projects and devise documentation and other instruments to encourage the best communication, the best care, the best caregivers, the best care-receivers we can be.
