Faculty will review scientific research and clinical developments in the
application of T cell-targeting therapeutic management. You’ll learn new
treatment advances that combine chemotherapy and microbiological
advances in monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) while targeting CD2 to facilitate
cancerous T cell depletion and healthy T cell preservation.
After completing this course, you should be able to:
Describe the pathophysiology of aggressive T cell-mediated lymphoproliferative disease
Evaluate research derived from pre-clinical anti-CD2 T cell models
Identify clinical applications of MAb therapies and their effect on transplantation
Define the clinical application of CD2-mediated T cell depletion in the treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), other cancers as well as in stem cell transplantation
Recognize the need for ongoing research into T cell-mediated MAb therapy
