Below is an e-mail from Poz Magazine Staff Writer Tim Murphy. He is
looking for people living with HIV that may be interested in telling
their story about receiving benefits. He's looking especially for
women to lift their voices. If you know of any able and willing
please respond to Tim's e-mail and share this with other's that may
have an interest in doing so.

I hope this finds you well. Maybe you can help me with something that
would also be a plug for Save ADAP. I'm writing a MONEY issue-
covering everything from workplace and saving to disability, health
care, etc. For example, we're profiling a guy who, with a good
(nearly) pro bono lawyer, successfully fought off a challenge (for
now) to his long-term disability
Benefits and another out on SSD over HIV, depression and disfiguring
lipodystrophy who worries he may never work again.
I want to profile someone-preferably a woman, since I already have 2
men-who depend completely on Medicaid/ADAP/Medicare for healthcare
and are being squeezed out, or not making ends meet or something.
Maybe someone on an ADAP waiting list who's hassled over the whole
PAP routine. That would be perfect and really get at the current
benefits crunch.
I thought you might be in touch with some folks on ADAP waitlists. I
remember there were a few last Feb at the lobby in D.C.
Can you let me know?
Thanks. Hope you're well.
Tim
