The AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is seeking area residents in
serving as independent review panelists to evaluate funding
applications submitted in response to our Request for Proposals
(RFPs) for HIV/AIDS case management in the Chicago-metropolitan area.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to conduct a
competitive rebidding process for case management services in the
Chicago area funded through this cooperative. Community-based
organizations will submit their applications to AFC. Community
review panels will evaluate these proposals and recommend which
should be funded to provide case management services. By assisting
AFC in conducting a thoughtful, thorough review of proposals, you
will be helping to ensure access to quality case management services
to people living with HIV/AIDS throughout the area.
Interested? We are looking for a group of reviewers diverse in age,
sex, race/ethnicity, expertise, and educational background. Fill out
the attached application and return it to AFC, along with your resume
or a narrative statement of your interest and qualifications. Please
note: All currently or potentially funded HIV case managers and case
management supervisors are not eligible to apply to be a reviewer.
