I am writing to inform you of several upcoming poz hetero events in
the
greater Los Angeles area.
These are open to all HIV+ heterosexuals--but please be sure to RSVP
so
that we can have an accurate count.

Event #1
Cathy's 40th Birthday Bash
When: Saturday May 29th, 2004
Time: 3:00pm (till around 6:30)
Where: The Loft at Cafe Tu Tu Tango (located at Universal City Walk
behind the Hard Rock Cafe)
City Walk is adjacent to the Universal Studios Theme Park--just off
the
101 Fwy north of Hollywood

Cost: Parking is about $7.00 in the City Walk lot. The party is, of
course, free. Food will be provided, but alcoholic beverages are on
your
own. A full cash bar will be available for those who wish to partake.
Shelley will be hosting absolutely fabulous music and karaoke.

A personal note about this event: Even if I don't know you...yet.
Please consider yourself invited and welcome to my party. Anyone who
knows
me, can testify that I will go to any length for a party. What better
excuse, than an over the hill party to get together and have some
fun!
I'm sure there are more than a few of us who thought we might not
make it
that far. Please come help me celebrate this milestone.

Event #2
Private Tropical Party Cruise for Poz Heteros
Hosted by: Shelley, Cathy, Dale, Martell, and Kris
When: Saturday June 19th, 2004
Time: Boarding begins at 7:00pm- boat sails at 7:30 (and returns at
11:00pm)
Where: On board the 85ft Kristina, anchored at Harbor Breeze Cruises
Dock #2 in Rainbow Harbor
near downtown Long Beach--adjacent to the Long Beach Aquarium of the
Pacific.
Details: The Kristina is a fully equipped boat with two levels
(including an open air upper deck) and several bathrooms. There is a
full cash
bar on board.
Cost: tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the boat. Price of
ticket includes food, DJ dancing, access to beverages, and EVERYONE
is
guaranteed to get leid :)
Parking: there is plenty of paid parking available in the Aquarium
parking structure across from where the boat docks. There is also a
free
lot behind that structure.
Shelley and Cathy will have tickets available for purchase by May
8th.
Even if you don't purchase your ticket in advance, please let us know
if you are coming. Access is limited to the first 65 people.

There is a Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant directly across from where
the
boat docks. We will be meeting there for some pre-sailing
festivities.
We are also working to secure discount tickets for the aquarium as
well. Stay tuned for more info. If you are coming from out of town,
please
let us know. Kris has access to discounted hotel rooms in Long Beach.
