Feb. 7 Marks National
African-American AIDS Awareness Day
Communities across the country will commemorate National African-
American AIDS Awareness Day on Saturday, February 7. Local events
occurring tomorrow include:
NATIONAL BLACK HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAY BRUNCH - Saturday, February 7,
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, at First Church of Deliverance (Education
Building) located at 4301 South Wabash Avenue. Screening of Kevin's
Room II and on-site testing will be available. The event is free of

NATIONAL BLACK HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAY - Saturday, February 7, 12
noon – 2:00 p.m., at Rainbow/PUSH Coalition located at 930 E. 50th
Street. Panel discussion will take place addressing faith-based
responses to HIV/AIDS issues among youth, seniors, gays, and
