Sorry for all the confusion, but our usual venue for this much
anticipated event fell through and we had to scramble for an
alternate. However in keeping with the saying that, there are no
coincidences we've located a great place to get together.



The Positive Connections New York City support group is hosting its

2nd Annual Adult Holiday Party on SUNDAY,

December 14th.



Like last year's party this one is promising to be the
community's gala event of the season. This year in addition to the
great food, music and networking, we have a special guest appearance
of River Houston. River is a long-standing member of our community
who is a Stand-Up comedian. She has kindly volunteered to perform at
the party. Take it from us she is a very funny lady.



Location:

The party will be held at a cool downtown lounge,

The Central Bar 109 East 9th St., between 3rd and 4th Avenues. The
party will held on the second floor private space with its own bar
and sound system. (Use the #6 train/Astor Place/8th St). Street and
meter parking is avail. as well as a municipal lot on Astor & 4th
Ave, and a indoor garage on Broadway/Astor



The new time is 4:00 pm till whenever.



Please note that, like in all events where we use public locations,
the management is not aware of our common denominator. The signage
will read PC party, please preserve our community's anonymity!



The cover charge is $25.00 for this event, which covers the catering
expenses. If you RSVP, please plan to attend, as we have to pay in
advance for the catered food. There will also be a cash bar,
provided by the house. You must be on the guest list to enter the
party. So call and reserve today! (Sheri will be flying in for the
party)

NEW YORK TRAVELING DINNERS

AROUND THE WORLD IN 12 MONTHS



Join The NY Support Group for a monthly traveling dinner party.

Can't take a week off to go on the cruise, like to try new and
different food but can't leave the country? Every month we will
travel to a different ethnic restaurant with other group members
to socialize, enjoy fine dining while making new friends.

This monthly dinner will be featured on the 2nd Friday of every
month.

1st DINNER will be held Friday, January 9, 2004

First stop is Vietnam at NAM, 110 Reade St (between W Bway & Church)
in Tribeca.

Cocktails begin at 6pm and dinner at 7pm.

NAM has offered a special rate of $35 per plate which includes an
array of all appetizers & entrée for this special evening.

Cocktails, soft drinks, desserts, tax & gratuity are additional.

Space limited to 16 so make sure to reserve early with your deposit
of $20.

Reservations must be confirmed by December 12; so first come, first
served!

Cruise Ship SPIRIT for the northbound Glacier Route to view
the breath taking glaciers of Ketchikan, Skagway, and Juneau. Land
Excursions include exploring by train and helicopter, a taste of
Russia in Sitka, ride the dog sleds and a chance to see humpback
whales and exotic sea birds. Inside Cabin: only $570, Outside $820,
