Sorry I've been MIA lately....my health has given me a lot of challenges on top of keeping up in school. It's been about 4 years since I've been diagnoised and started Adderall XR 20mgs and just within this last year I have lost a significant amount of weight and I don't have an appetite. My family doctor(who manages my meds) strongly believes it's the Adderall. The only reason why I am not sure this is it is b/c I've been on Adderall for 4 years, why does it start now? I always eat before I take all of my meds including Adderall just like my psychiatrist at the time reccommended and eat throughout the day. If this is the Adderall, what can I do to gain the weight back and keep it from leaving me again? What are some other medications available that are similar to Adderall XR? I've tried Ritalin and Concerta but both made me come down very hard and caused problems w/ my heart on higher doses that helped. Thanks!
