FUNCTIONING CHALLENGES


CHADD Members: Don't miss the next "Ask the Expert" Chat, scheduled for
Thursday, November 18, 2004, from 9 - 11 pm, EST. Guest speaker Chris
Zeigler Dendy, M.S., will answer your questions about adolescents with
AD/HD and executive functioning challenges.


Ms. Dendy has over 30 years of experience as an author, educator, school
psychologist, children's mental health professional, local and state
level mental health administrator, lobbyist and executive director of a
statewide mental health advocacy organization, and national mental
health consultant on children's issues. Ms. Dendy is also the author of
several popular books and videos. More importantly, she is the mother of
two grown sons with AD/HD.


"ASK THE EXPERT" CHAT GUIDELINES


The "Ask the Expert" Chat is a moderated chat, which means the moderator
chooses the questions that the featured expert will answer. To ensure
that all participants benefit from the chat, questions related to the
designated topic will be given preference. Experts will not provide
specific medical advice.


CHAT INSTRUCTIONS


If you are not a member and would like to become a member in order to
participate in this chat, make sure you receive your member ID after
submitting your membership application.


To join the chat, please follow these instructions:


1. Please have your CHADD member ID and password readily available.
