Hi Richard,
I was using Adderall for about 4 years, however, it gave me very bad
headaches and the "crash" coming off of the medicine each day was
pretty harsh. I have recently starting using Vyvanse which is a longer-
acting medication without the severe crash. I would suggest you ask
your doctor about this medication as well. The dosages are for children
so I've been prescribed a double-dose since adults will require a
higher dose of the medication. Since this is above the limits set forth
by my insurance (first BCBS, now Humana), I've had to get this approved
through a medical director at my insurance company as well and was able
to do so without a problem.
Hopefully some of this information helps.
Best Regards,
Jayme
