So I've decided to return back to school and get my masters. The problem is that I'm losing my health insurance and although I was certain I'd have no problems getting insurance through school, I was wrong. I several pre-exsisting conditions including ADHD and I have to go through a year waiting period before they'll cover anything for that, which is the whole reason why I am signing up for the health insurance.

Anyone have any ideas how to get around or deal with this? I was under the impression that as long as I had continous coverage, that I would not have this issue, but I was apparently so wrong. I can't afford to do COBRA ($500/month) and I can't get insurance through my parents, so I may end up dropping to part time just so that I can work enough hours to get benefits somewhere (like Starbucks, or somewhere else). Any other ideas?

Keara
