New Year's Astrological Resolutions....  January 1, 2006

Dear Friends:

As we start this wonderful New Year, it's a great 'benefit' of Astrology for us to 'REFLECT' upon our Astrological Selves, or Charts.

Today, and over this first week of the year, reflect upon as much of your Astrology.

REMEMBER, Astrology, very accurately identifies the positive areas of our lives as due to our positive, or correct, mental, psychological and emotional patterns or Astrological BENEFICS.

I always enjoy telling people and helping them understand their 'Benefics', because when we flow more through our Astrological strengths we will 'ONLY' experience positivity.

Astrology's ability to see the problems in our lives, challenges, weaknesses, and frustrating realities as due to the negatives in our charts; or 'MALEFICS', is a great life Wisdom!

Learning to see how we're responsible for every aspect of our lives, and then finding the precise, and specific Astrological components or configurations is the  1ST STEP, at Astrological POWER, or Self-Improvement.

In short we can quickly identify which areas of our charts are responsible, or indicative or each and every problem in our lives!

Emotional Problems, worries, anxieties; which do come up during these times of the year, are a
reflection in part to the MOONS, in our charts.

If we want to improve any or every aspect of our minds, or emotions, even improving our Intuition, we should investigate into our Moons.

If we have Self-doubting problems in life?  If we find that our lack of self-confidence is undermining
any of our life's dreams or goals, then we should look, in part, to the Sun's in our Charts.

If we have any Confusions related to not knowing what we should be doing.  Or, maybe we're confused about which way to go, what direction to take, then we can look at the Mercury's in our Charts.

If we have any Health problems, whether overt diseases, or frustrating lack of dynamic energy, we can look to the Saturn's in our Charts.

If we have any FINANCIAL problems, whether we can't hold onto or make enough money, we should
look to the 11th, 12th & 2nd Houses, in our charts.

Jyotish/Astrology:
Represents the Solution to All Problems, in Life

Astrology has a unique ability to help anyone solve any and all problems in life, because Astrology
understands what the underlieing human mental or emotional 'patterns' are that are literally causing
us our problems.

MALEFICS....

Once we discover which of our problems are due to specific 'Malefic' configurations; this then gives us great help and insight because we can begin to see what areas of our personality, mind's, or emotions are either incorrect, imbalanced or undeveloped.

The 'MALEFICS', in our charts, represent the areas of our lives that we're literally, meant to improve.

The main problem with the entire field of 'Malefics', is that where we have our malefics is literally,
where we're confused, blame others, or are self-deluded, and have our obsessions, addictions, and
'WRONG', patterns.

MARS, for example, is the primary planet that makes us feel that 'others' are the real source of
our problems.

SATURN, is perhaps the most important and least understood part of our lives; and as a result we
go too fast, we don't take enough rest, we don't function from enough balance or health, and don't
have enough patience or inner poise.

In Truth, each planet represents a specific part of our complete Mind/Body nature which if we don't
understand will spontaneously lead to any and all the problems we see in human life.

THE ASTROLOGICAL SOLUTION!

The 'Astrological Solution', to any and all problems is to learn how to enliven any Astrological, or  Malefic configuration, which, so far, has been responsible for those problems.

New Year's Astrological Perspective...
Resolutions!

Let 2006, with Jupiter's Grace
and Wisdom,

Give us the precise and practical insight and Knowledge...
to solve any problem
and attract to ourselves,
the natural fulfillment of any and all aspects of Life!

#1  Identify the Malefic configuration or patterns,
that are literally responsible for that which we want to improve!

#2  Then, start a Self-Improvement Program...
that has the precise goal to strengthen or enliven the positive side
of any potentially negative or Malefic, in our Charts!

May this new Year, bless us with the Wisdom
and
Practical Insights to create any happiness
and success,
in life!

Remember, the World is as we are!

In other words, no one else, stands in our way!

It's up to US!

Enliven your inner, and undeveloped Human Nature...
and Solve any and all problems
in Life!

With the Grace of the Guru,
of the Universe...

"Happiness Is A State of Mind".....  Happiness is a State of MOON!

You know the ol' expression, 'happiness is a state of mind'?

Well to a great extent, I think it's true.

Therefore, because Jyotish/Astrology understands that the 'mind',
is really a reflection of the 'Moon', then,....happiness should really be a matter of Moon!

In this article we'll examine how the Moon reflects one's state of 'mind', and emotions,
and how the Mind, like the Moon, can be expanded or increased for greater satisfaction, and eventually....... happiness.

Watch how you 'feel', how the mind feels for 2 or 3 months in a row, watching each day, as the Moon gets bigger .... and then,....smaller and smaller.

You'll discover a direct correlation between the Mind, feelings, emotions, and the Moon!

In addition, the rules surrounding the relationship between the various states of the Moon, in our charts, and the various, precise states of emotional and mental security and happiness; in our lives..... shows that the Moon,....is the Mind!

Jyotish Principle#1

When the Moon is small, whether Waxing or Waning, the person will exhibit much emotional instability, worries, phobias of all kinds, restlessness, sadness, and fear.

This is literally symbolic of the Moon's size representing a small degree of emotional and mental development.

The Moon, however, which is Waxing and extremely big, at least between 1/2 full and Full; the person will exhibit much emotional and mental strength, clarity of mind, emotional evenness, intuition, and inner strength.

Traditionally, the Moon as it's Waning, (or getting smaller), even though at times the Moon might be fairly big, still represents a very erratic emotional and mental constitution.

So, What's to be done!

Well, generally, not much is thought really can be done.  Sure, some Jyotish remedies might be suggested especially during difficult Moon or Sade Sat periods, but still; not much really can be done.

But, today, a new insight has come to light, in the ancient field of Ved, (or pure Knowledge), and that is that the person can develop themselves.

Recent innovations in the field of 'Meditation' and the Expansion of Consciousness, indicate that it's not possible to develop the innate inner potential that is there, lying dormant in human consciousness.

And, where human potential has generally been thought to be limited to a measly 5, or 10%, now, it's even being scientifically validated that more and more of that 'innate' potential can be unfolded.

So, if this is true, and the mind of any person can be improved.

If, through such techniques as meditation, the person can grow in terms of emotional and mental presence of mind, what does this mean in terms of the Jyotish, or Astrological chart?

It means, literally, that the Moon can be improved or increased in our lives, and therefore charts.

Like the real Moon, which knows how to regularly Wax, or get bigger, the nature of the human mind, too, can get bigger!

As it does, then, the Moon will be bigger in our charts and our lives.

As a result, we'll find ourselves living, spontaneously, more inner presence of mind, clarity of thinking, intuition, and yes, even happiness.

This is a great insight of Vedic Science, that it's now, possible to increase our potential.

As a result, we've learned a great 'truism' of even Jyotish, that our charts are not just maps or descriptions of our 'fate', but they're also indicative of our futures, potential, and even possibilities of self-improvement.

Looking at the Moon, now, in this way we can even think of other remedies that might help us develop our Moon's and as a result our emotional and mental happiness.

One of the greatest experiences I've had in studying Jyotish for over 18 years now, is that there is this intimate connection between our selves, emotions, and what the Moon is doing.

When you watch the Moon for even 2 or 3 months, you'll feel that connection.

Watch the Moon for a little longer and it can appear to one, that the Moon is like a huge cycle.

It gets bigger and bigger, and then it peaks, and then smaller and smaller.

Again, each month, bigger and bigger, then more and more empty.

It seems so fruitless until you're reminded about other cycles that you know.

Each day, the Sun climbs high in the sky and we feel like getting up and doing, and being active.  Then, later in the day as the Sun 'wanes', we begin to feel tired, the night comes, and we fall asleep.

Why?

So, the next day can begin again, but now, refreshed from a full nite's sleep.

Like that, daily cycle of rest & activity, the Moon reflects a deeper, Monthly cycle of rest and activity.

In addition to the daily cycle there is the Moon's cycle of rest...... and then activity....

Rest.....and ..... activity...... Waning....and then Waxing....

When you learn to look at the Moon in this way, then, it becomes more clear, the Moon is not a static measure of our emotional or mental 'fate'.

No, the Moon is the means by which we start our lives, and through the regular churnings of the Moon, we can grow, emotionally, mentally and even spiritually.

Unfortunately, so very few people are educated to pay attention to their feelings, or emotions, much less as to the 'Moon', in life.

As a result, this great treasure and aspect of life, is very 'dim', and undeveloped.

Every once in awhile, however, you'll meet someone with a very good emotional stability, evenness or intuition.

When you look at their charts, they may have started out with a big Moon, or they may have spent 15, or 20 years practicing things like meditation,.... and you realize,
'oh my, the Moon can be improved!'

The other thing I love to share with people, who have any desire to either improve their Moons, Minds, or emotions, is to #,..... Be more in-tune with these 2 various stages of the Moon.

When the Moon's Waning, like now, feel that quality in your body and go with it.

Allow yourself to be more restful, do less, be more easy, and plan to retire, rejuvenate, etc.

Then, as the Moon begins to Wax, notice, how immediately, you begin to feel more outward, dynamic and energetic.  Therefore during these Waxing times, allow yourself to 'do' the most.

Plan your greatest events, projects, enterprises during the Waxing Moon, and see if these activities aren't more successful.

You'll notice, too, that those 'things' that are innocently or ignorantly planned during the Waning cycle and especially around the New Moon, seem weak, listless, and eventually 'doomed', to be unsuccessful!

Allow yourself to be more and more in-tune with these 2 cycles for a few more months, and you'll begin to experience a quality of naturalness and nature support that you only hear about in story books or legends.

Finally, use the Moon, itself to increase your emotional and mental stability, clarity, and intuition.

As the Moon's getting bigger, focus, enjoy waves of activity, meetings, events, etc.

But, then, as the Moon begins to wane, notice that this new time, is ideal for re-organization, for catching up on tardy paperwork, or details that are involved and follow every project.

Do those during the Waning cycle, and prepare for the last week's Waxings, and New Moon for a time of deep rest, rejuvenation and revival.

Be in-tune with the Moon, and life, itself, will flow more spontaneously, more effortlessly, and more graciously, ..... with you.

As a result:  2 benefits will come to you....

#1....more and more inner happiness .... and....

#2... more and more success on even the outer level.

These two areas, by the way, are the 2 main characteristics of the Moon, itself.

It both represents our emotional or mental happiness, on the inside; and, our areas of attention, focus and work in the World.

Learn to handle your Moon, develop it's inner resources, and find more
HAPPINESS, in life.

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Dear Friends:

This month of the Sun's transit through the great sign of Sagittarius is a blessed and especially
exciting change this year!

For the first time in 5 years, Jupiter, the Lord or ruler of Sagittarius is not being negatively held
back or aspected by Saturn!

Jupiter made it's movement into Libra, where it stopped finally, being aspected by Saturn, on
September 28th.

Since then, Jupiter has moved quickly through Libra where it's now about the 11th degree.

Notice over these last few months the progress in all World's stock markets, and where the US has risen over 500 points!

The time, then, when the Sun moves through one of the signs ruled by Jupiter, (Sagittarius), will
be an especially more bright and uplifting time!

Always, during this time of the year, many of the World's biggest religions have some of their Holiest days!

This is because of the very pure nature of Sagittarius.

This month, then, is especially good at enlivening any 'Knowledge' within yourself.

Simultaneously, for many it's a good Saturn time, coming as it does in the middle of the Winter
for all those enjoying the Northern latitudes!

DAILY TRANSITS
OF THE MONTH OF SUN/SAGITTARIUS

Auspicious:  A
Delicate:  D
Warning: W

DEC. 15TH  Auspicious/A  lst day of the Sun's movement into Sagittarius.

This day was also a rather positive or uplifting
one since it fell on the FULL MOON.

The next 2 weeks then as the time approaches the high holidays of Christmas and New Years;
the Moon will be waking.

For many this will present some bit of a challenge because there's so much to do during these holiday times.

Therefore, try and get more rest, in spite of your demands.

DEC. 18-19TH  A & Delicate:  D    Moon moves into Cancer & transits Saturn over these days.

These next few days as the Moon moves through Cancer will be a bit of a delicate time.  Normally,
the Moon is very happy moving through Cancer.  This is because Cancer is the home of the Moon,
so normally everything to do with the 'heart', mind, and feeling level are sweet and easy.

However, this month & year, in fact, for the next year and a half Saturn continues to be in Cancer
too.

This means the Moon & Saturn will be conjunct or in the same place.

This will represent some discomfort on a feeling level, and losses, frustrations, and Saturn challenges
tend to come during these type of days.

If you experience this, like I did today, bills, worries!, hehe, then, know this is where this is coming
from.

But, if you understand this and allow yourself more healing, silence and Saturn pause, these days can be very good, and even sublime if you're being more in-tune with Saturn!

DEC. 20TH  A    Moon moves into Leo.

Though the Moon is Waning, still it's very big and bright and during this Moon/Leo time, (2 1/2 days),
there is NO!, MALEFIC influence upon the Moon.

Good time to get things done, to feel strong.  Not good time, to be bossy, or toooo Leoish.

But, good time to lead, and be followed, if done in a sweeter manner.

DEC. 23rd&24th  D    Moon moves into Virgo, and conjuct w/Ketu & Rahu, aspect.

Moon in Virgo can be a problem sometimes, but especially because Ketu is also in Virgo, this monthly
transit tends to be hard on the heart.  Watch the transits for 2 or 3 months and you'll know whether
you regularly feel the distressing influence of Ketu, and Rahu's accompanying simultaneous influence.

Solution is to take it easy and not strain or work too hard.   If you're working too hard during a Moon and Ketu conjunction you may start to feel depressed, or hopeless.

This can be Ketu's or Rahu's influence upon the good feelings, of the Moon.

So, if this is your experience, don't blame Christmas, the holidays, or Winter.  It's because of these
planets!

Therefore, plan now to be busy, NOT being busy, plan some more recreational, and fun things to do.
You may be able to ride out, underneath 'their' radar, so to speak.

DEC. 25-27th  AAA    Moon moves into Libra today!  & Conjunction with JUPITER!

Moon in Libra is a naturally more uplifting or positive transit.  Also, this year, because Jupiter's made
it's transit into Libra, the 'conjunction' of Moon & Jupiter together will be especially lovely!

Take advantage of this time, enjoy your Christmas day, and know this will be a time when Jupiter's
positive and uplifting energy will be more available, or flowing to the Moon or mind/heart.

Good time to focus on more the real meaning of Christmas as the purity and knowledge of Jupiter
will be more available during these days of transit!

DEC. 27(late)&28,29th  D    Moon moves into Scorpio today  & Conjunction with Mercury

Moon in Scorpio is the worst time of any month as the Moon's debilated in Scorpio.  This is because
the 'feeling' level or mind, is adversely affected by the harsher or angry, fiery nature of Scorpio.

During these days, each month, we often feel angry or irritable.  This is because of Scorpio, seeping
into the Moon, as if.

This is a good time, to not fight!
Or get into any disagreement.

Take this time to balance, 'pitta' as the Ayurvedic people say, drinking soothing, non fiery drinks, and
NOT, fiery food!

Take care, and know this transit is fortunately short!

DEC. 29th-31st (10pm)  A & D   Moon moves into Sagittarius today  & Conjunction with the Sun!

Moon moving through Sagittarius normally is a very good transit.  However this month, of the year,
the Sun's also in Sagittarius.  This means today's the New Moon, so the Moon is the least powerful.

For most, because we don't plan ahead, we try to do or feel too much and because Nature is not
supporting, we feel off or bad.

This emptying, or feeling less, is just the natural, healing or resting time of each month.

If we take advantage of this time, and not try and 'do' too much, we'll be find, and in fact, take maximum advantage of this time.

Because this deeply "INWARD" time of the Moon's transit comes very close to the New Year, many
will misinterpret this 'inwardness', to be depressive or sad.

It's not!, due to the holidays, or any reason, except that the Moon's transiting, 'there'!

Therefore, make a decision to be more inward, reflective and quiet this New Years!, and you'll feel
fine!

JANUARY 1ST-3rd, 2006  A & D   Moon moves into Capricorn  & Conjunction with Venus!

Moon moves into Capricorn today, so the Moon's on the move, Waxing, or beginning to get bigger.

As I've watched this transit over the years, one can immediately feel better, as the Moon begins to
Wax!

This feels like a great relief, but not to do too much because this year, as the Moon's in Capricorn,
it'll be aspected or influenced by Saturn which is in the opposite sign.

As a result, if you 'did', too much over the last few days, you'll really feel it today!

On another, positive note, Moon and Venus, together represents a very sweet, and nice time!

Take advantage of this to relate to others, take someone out, do something sweet!

JANUARY 3rd&4th, 2006  AA    Moon moves into Aquarius!

Moon moves into Aquairus on the 3rd so notice that there's a lot of good feeling during these days.

This is because there is NO!, malefic influence upon the Moon.  Enjoy, too, the very creative, and
artistic energy of Aquarius.

Moon's also Waxing and is already about 1/4 FULL!

JANUARY 5th-6th, 2006  A&D    Moon moves into Pisces & collides with Rahu!

Moon is very happy in Pisces, again, a sign ruled by Jupiter.  However, this month, as it was 2 weeks
ago, when the Moon was in Virgo with Ketu; now the Moon is also moving past the dreaded Rahu!

This, even more,  then the Ketu transit, 'feels' very rough or unforgiving.

Don't allow yourself to fall into the grip of Rahu, and therefore plan to be doing less, enjoying more,
and especially taking it easy,

Rahu gets out of balance when we go for the superficial, material or desires only.

Keep the heart and physiology anchored on the more permanent, pure aspects, within, and this can
be fine!

JANUARY 7th-9th, 2006  A&D    Moon moves into Aries & collides with Mars!

Moon is fairly happy in Aries, and in fact gets a surcharge of energy, from Mar's sign, Aries.

However, Mars is also transiting Aries, this month/year, so often we swing too far when Moon & Mars
are in the same space.

Therefore, 'don't'!

Make a decision to enjoy this added energy, and dynamism, Moon's still Waxing, but,.....
don't overdo it, and be too pushy or bratty.

Don't be too angry or mad, or argue.

Otherwise this can be a very dynamic time.

Use this for good, but not to turn into 'anger'.

Mars and Moon are both at the 19th degree of Aries on the 8th, so be especially careful on this day.

JANUARY 9-11th (10am cst), 2006  AAA    Moon moves into Taurus where it's EXALTED!

Moon is in it's favorite place during the transit of Taurus.  Take maximum advantage of this time,
to make communications, important decisions, and beginnings.

Moon is also only 2 1/2 days away from being full, so this will bring extra benefit and energy.

Only small thing to watch is Ketu's 9th house aspect from Virgo.  But it's influence tends to be less.

JANUARY 12-13th, 2006  AAA    Moon moves into Gemini and FULL MOON!

Moon is fairly happy in Gemini, and this month of the year, comes on a full moon!

So enjoy this very happy and sweet time, as the Moon each month when it gets full, represents the
fruition, or fullness of the entire Waxing cycle of the last 2 weeks!

This month & year, too, is especially positive because there's no trace of malefic or negative influence.

JANUARY 14-15th, 2006  A&D    Moon moves into Cancer & Conjunction with Saturn!

Moon has made a full circle by this day, and as it began 30 days ago, again moves through Cancer.

Notice the sweet, positive side of these days, but also the heaviness, or influence of Almighty Saturn
which can be unforgiving during it's aspects!

But, if you make plans to be at peace with Saturn, and move and work with it's nature, then Saturn
transits like these, can be more positive.

The way you'll be able to tell that you're working positively, enough with Saturn, is the positive side
of Saturn will be felt during these days.

Feelings of deep ease, silence and bliss are more readily possible during this time, if,....and I mean,
if you're also in-tune with Saturn.

I find it always good still, to plan that these days are more calm and non-hectic, so I can take better
advantage of this Saturn time.

During Friends, I hope this month's of transits helps you again master more and more the intricate
and subtle influences of nature!

The 'transits' are the way Nature is functioning and going to function!

It's up to us whether we choose to work either with, or against, or ignorant of Nature.

What's that old expression:  "It's not kind, to fool Mother Nature."

But, nature can be sooooo perfect and sublime if we work 'with' her!

Then, she leads us, to the natural fullfillment of all of our activities, projects and lives!

Good luck, and God bless.

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Since I've been studying Jyotish, now all these years I have to say
I'm looking at Winter differently.

After I became an adult, Winter seemed to loose it's charm, and when
I discovered Jyotish suddently I knew why!

Winter is Saturn!

All the words you hear associated with Saturn, cold, delays,
contractions, frustrations, retardation, hibernation!, all these are
great Saturn words.

No wonder I didn't like Winter, with the Saturn in my chart!, hehe.

Seriously, w/Saturn in my 12th conjunct with my poor Moon, I
certainly experienced all the classic challenges of Saturn.

Then, suddenly it occured to me, maybe Saturn, or life is trying to
tell me something.

Also, having Sani in my 12th has been another aspect of a wake up
call!

For most of my life I never seemed to have enough money, or more
debts!

But, again, I started thinking, maybe Saturn's there, not only
indicative of 'my' problem, but maybe Sani's trying to tell me
something.

Then, I started noticing those cute little squirrels, scurring around
the yard, come fall with nuts in their mouth, looking for some great
places to store their fruits!

Then, I realized, I should be like that.

I should certainly save more, and now, for over 12 years, I've
prepared so differently for the Saturn-Winter months.

Jyotish in fact, helped me learn that my thought pattern for saving
was very inadequate and as soon as I learned to desire that change,
my entire experience of debts, bills, and the worry and loss that
comes from all that began to change.

Now I understand that Winter is Saturn, and we can either be in-tune
with our Saturn's or not.

If we don't then, we struggle more during these months.

Everything slows down, cold, snow, and yet our bills dont seem too.

We need therefore to enliven the positive side of our Saturn, and
then, Winter can become the glorious bliss of Saturn.

If you're in-tune with your Saturn, then you'll have money, acorns,
saved from the spring and summer. You'll therefore not be so worried.

You'll therefore be able to be with the natural slow down of nature.

As a result you're not rushing so much, you're even more patient.

Since I've learned this one aspect of Saturn especially in relation
to my chart, my entire experience of Saturn has been transformed.

Some of the many things I notice I'm enjoying more now are:

Meditating.

Have you noticed that when it's cold, and overcast, the Sun comes up
later and goes down earlier, that there's a natural 'INWARDNESS'
going on?

Therefore take advantage of this Winter Saturn to enliven more inner
silence and bliss!

I'm hopeing that this email greets you all and you're all enjoying
the sweet, positive side of Saturn Winter!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

I recieve so many emails about disasters and prophetic occurences, around the globe, that I've decided to make another group.

This is where we will post anything related to End-Time Prophecies that are evidently being fulfilled right before our eyes.

We believe God's vindicated Prophet, William Marrion Branham, was sent to this Last Age to bring us the Truth of the Word. To restore the teachings of the Apostolic Fathers, and to deliver the fulness of the Revealed Word to the Bride of Christ...in order that we might escape the wrath that is being poured out upon the ungodly.

If you want to know more about this Prophet and the Message he brought, please visit our Bible Study group...

The 4 Awakenings

Did you know their were four kinds of lives that we were born to live, in this life?

This morning as the Moon moved passed Almighty Jupiter, these thoughts came to me.

The First Awakening

Most of those who have been exposed to the vision of life, through Astrology, known as the Astrological life, thatıs unique to our Jyotish.

Even not knowing about our Astrology we are born to live all the pluses and minuses of our Astrology.

We have sweet periods, times when everything wonderful happens for us.  Then there are the dark times, when everything unimaginable goes wrong!   Later we hear there are these two sides of our Astrological life; called benefics and maleifcs.

Pre-Jyotish is one life, and post-Jyotish begins another.

I find myself sometimes reminiscing sometimes about my former, pre-Jyotish, life.  There were some absolutely positive times, but, there were also some deeply troubling ones, as well.

For most itıs the dark times of our malefics that makes us search for the unique answers that are so well available in the understandings of our Astrology.

The Second Awakening

So, we begin the process of seeing ourselves through our Astrology charts.  Why are we the way we are?  Why are we so uniquely different then other people?  And, how are we the same?  These and many more questions get a chance to be fulfilled the more we understand the unique flavors of our Jyotish charts.

After awhile, learning about our Astrology, feels, literally, like weıve been reborn!

Thereıs a unique kind of Œawakeningı that comes to us, even if we only begin hearing about our Astrology.  ³Ahhhhh, sooo thatıs why Iım the way I am?²

Then, a unique kind of peacefulness begins washing over us, even after just beginning to hear about our charts.

For some, we go to our Astrology when weıre having problems.  For others, we delight in this unique process of Œawakeningı with each aspect of our charts, that we hear.

What is this process of Awakening that weıre going through?

What are itıs full possibilities?  And where will it end up?

The Third Awakening

One time I heard it said:  ³The purpose of life is the development of perfection.  We will be born again and again until full perfection is reached.²

I think of this when I think of this quality of ŒAwakeningı.

Pre-Jyotish, I was like a football, being kicked this way and that.

One moment I was rushing ahead, happy, excited.   The next, stumbled, tackled, with my face in the mud.  After awhile, even the happy times, couldnıt out-way the disappointing ones.

Thus begins the process of self-inquiry which has the delicious quality of Self-Awakening.

Because itıs in Awakening that we truely find ourselves.

Itıs in Awakening that we begin to Œawakenı from our deep slumber.

Itıs in Awakening that we see our true purposes and potentials in this life.

Itıs in Awakening that we see the light!

Jyotish is the supreme light of the Ved!

Vedic Knowledge contains the complete knowledge of life; both in itıs Absolute and Relative characteristics.

Expansion of Consciousness

In Œthisı 3rd Awakening, whether weıve learned our Astrology, or not, is contained the possibility of awakening to our higher Selves.

For thousands of years, people have heard:  ³Know Thyself².

In Western culture from the times of the Greeks, the idea of coming to know ThySelf, has
been there.   Though of course, itıs been not well understood or practiced for almost as long.

In the East, this idea of Higher Self, or Enlightenment, is more clearly understood.  Though, there, too, itıs not widely practiced anymore.

But, the entire World today, is in a process of an explosion of self-renewal!  Today, millions of individuals, of all nations and all cultures have been exposed to the unique life-awakening properties of the Higher Self.

I

The Fourth Awakening

Though for most, Astrology or especially Jyotish is not know, but for those unique few, who have started seeing themselves through the Self, notice, capital ŒSı, and also have found themselves, enlivening themselves through their Jyotish, a unique 4th dimension of life begins to be.

In the beginning, weıre living our lives.  We donıt know why, and sometimes weıre happy and other times weıre not.

But, such a life, seems grossly superficial, so after a time, we begin to itch, to search for something else.

For some, this Œemptinessı, draws us to Astrology.  For others, weıre drawn to things like meditation, and other time honored technologies of Self-Awareness.

Whatever the Œpathı, we begin to find ourselves in a new light.

If weıve coming from that Astrological Œbranchı, then, weıre beginning to see, the relative Wisdom of our path.

Once we begin to understand our Jyotish, we begin to feel more at peace, because we begin to understand that there are some very good reasons why our life has been the way it has.

A kind of initial peacefulness begins to spread over us, and this is the effect of Knowledge, the Pure Knowledge or Vedic Knowledge of the Self.

The uniquely detailed variety of Jyotish, Vedic Knowledge gives us a delicious specificity of insight that makes us feel extremely self-confident, because so few understand, really, the reasons why our lives are the way they are.

For those whose Œsecondı path, became Œmeditationı of consciousness expansion, a huge thrust or swelling of self, explodes, for us.

From this perspective, many possibilities are possible.  Regardless of the Astrological Œpathı that we had been walking, now we begin to see ourselves from a completely unique and unparalled consciousness perspective.

When the mind begins to go within, and especially learns to ŒTRANSCENDı, then, the beginning possibilities of ŒAll Possibilitiesı begins.

When the mind settles down, and goes for brief or longer periods of silence, the Self of the Universe, begins to pull us back to itSelf.

We sometimes come out of meditation feeling great, mmmmmm, something.  We canıt quite put our finger on it, but we do feel different.  As time goes by and weıre regularly taking time to fathom this new Reality, we begin to have especially clearer experiences.

Many experiences of clearer transcending come to us, and then, we begin to find that especially Œsmoothı and delicious quality of bliss permeating out into every day life.

Iıll never forget when that experience began.  For me, it took about 5 years of meditating.  Probably because I was so highly stressed, even in my youth! hehe

But, after about that time, I began to feel an inner glow that was unmistakable.

I hadnıt learned my Jyotish yet, but something fundamentally wonderful had begun.

Unfortunately, even meditation without Jyotish might be incomplete.

Because of these two Jyotish sides of us; Benefic and Malefic, even with meditation, a kind of frustration can continue.

I remember thinking even after 10 years of meditating, why arenıt I progressing, more quickly!  This quagmire continued for a few more years, until I found myself in India, and literally stumbled onto Jyotish.

Then over the next few years, I began my study of Jyotish, which because I was already meditating, I found myself zooming to an even more exciting level of Awakening.

Changeing our Stars

For most, fatalism dominates most of the thinking of even,  modern day Jyotish.  There are your strengths, those Benefics, but then, there are those pesky Malefics!

For most, sure, there are some kinds of Œremedial measuresı that might be tried, but basically weıre stuck to live out the poorer karmas of those so-called malefics.

But, sometimes, you can have the experience of some kind of self-transformation, even, wrapped around one of those same malefics.

Maybe itıs Mars, maybe Mars has been acting weirdly and some kinds of disappointing characteristics of malefic Mars has been dominating.

Maybe weıve been accident prone, or subject to easy bouts of anger, or confrontation with others.  Or maybe, even, weıve been treated badly by others.

But, sometimes, we somehow begin to Œget itı, and we seem to turn a corner, so to speak,  and that same intensity of Mars Œmaleficnessı, seems to be less.

Maybe we just got tired of being so Marish!

Or, maybe we just started to understand.

Whatever the reason, but, we seem to be fundamentally different now, and thatıs because we stumbled upon some deep shift in ŒBALANCEı, regarding even one of our Malefics!

So, we get excited and we begin to look at our Jyotish, or our charts, differently.

Maybe, even, someone says ³You Can Change Your Stars²!

Regardless of the reason, but once we start to look at our Malefics, in this way, not only as our fixed, Œfateı, but as literally the very areas of our lives; that weıre meant to change!, then,
we begin to move into a bigger Œlightı of our lives.

It happens in meditation, too.  We are going along, living the relative strengths of our planets, and then, whoosh, we sit down to meditate, and our minds ..... literally, go off!

We donıt even know where we went.

But, after some time, we come back, and we think, ... ³Wow, what happened?    Where, did I go?  It was so..... great,.... there.²

In those experiences, wherever our charts have lead us, we begin to experience an unmistakable, deeper level of Reality.

In such a state, our Sunıs are found expanding.  In those simple, wonderful inner experiences, even our Moonıs are found bigger, and brighter.  Afterwards, we come out, we come back, and as we get back into our day, the flows of our events, begins to be, more effortless and natural.

In truth, even the Saturn within us got enlivened in an amazing way, from meditation.

So, we continue with our inner development of Consciousness, but if weıre one of those lucky oneıs who also know their Jyotish, an amazing 4th level of Awakening becomes possible for us.

Jai Guru!

All thanks to the Almighty Guru or Jupiter, witin us.

Sincerely,

Nature's Astrology
Star Report:
Happy Full Moon.... &......
Other Related Transits....

Greetings!

Happy Full Moon, today,                         September 17th....

Though the actual heighth of the Full Moon depends upon what area of the globe you live.

Still, it's a very worthwhile thing to reflect and appreciate the Monthly, Full Moon.

Full Moons represent the 'fullness' of life, and as they come each month, the fruition of the
entire last 15 days of the Moon's Waxings....

Sun going through one of the 12 Signs, reflects a very unique Astrological quality and goal in each
month, and the Moon represents the cycle of rest & activity over that same 30 days.

Full Moon then, represents the 'crusendo', of Fullness, culminating in the fruition of these last so
many days.

So, we should enjoy these days, of Fullness!

Now, we celebrate the fullness of the Sun's transit through Leo, the 'heart' of the Zodiac.

There is that expression, 'where there is the will, there's a way', which is a very apt expression for
the Sun's power and Sun in Leo embodies that idea very strongly.

Today, we enjoy the fullness of the entire previous month of various activities.

All projects, endeavors, activities, are as if coming to a head now.

Then, as the Moon begins it's monthly Waning Cycle on Sunday and Monday, see if you can feel as if
a kind of bursting of the ballon, swoosh,..... and things then will start to recede.

Most people misunderstand the deep, positive significance of this Waning cycle.

The Waning 'time' is the time nature picks to rejuvenate.  All manners of rest and relaxation, re-
organizing and purification are the true purpose of the Moon's Waning Cycle.

During the Waxing cycle, there's just this intense 'thrust' ahead.  We do, we strive, we achieve, and
we don't think much of the repercussions, of whether we're working too hard or the rest.

Now, during the Waning cycle, it's a time of contemplation, reflection.

How well did we do this last Waxing cycle.

Did we do everything that we hoped?

Could we have done it better?

During these next 2 weeks, then, allow yourself to slow down, to reflect, to organize the tremendous
flurry of activity that dominated previously, and as a result, begin preparing for the next cycle,
which will come soon enough!

Other Transits Going On Now....

Sun Moves into Virgo!
today....

Coincidently, as the Moon moves into it's regular Fullness today, the Sun begins it's transit, out of
Leo, and into Virgo.

Leo represents a very hearty, goal oriented movement towards all of our goals, and dreams, and
Virgo then represents a time, to 'think more about that'.

As a result, Virgo is a good time to 'think' all manners of thoughts.

Did I do well, this last month?

In fact, coming as it does, almost exactly 1/2 way through the Zodiac year, we will even find ourselves thinking, did I do well this year?

The 'true' Astrological year begins when the Sun moves into the lst degree of Aries in April.

Now, we begin the 6th month into Virgo, and Virgo's rulership by Mercury will make it a more
cerebral, intellectual, 'thinkings' month.

Coincidently, the Planet Mercury moves into Virgo, also today.

Both Sun & Mercury are both at the 00:20, or some minutes into Virgo.

So enjoy that much more 'Virgoness'.

Mercury representing 'intellect', communications, and all manners of thinkings and decision makings,
represents a very special time, 'to think more clearly'!

Mercury will remain 'Exalted', in Virgo till October 5th,.... (when it moves into Libra).

Over the next week, this power of Mercruy will be a little 'slow' because of it's close, (combust)
position too close to the Sun.

But, already you can feel this shift, this awakening of Mercury's power, even if hidden a little bit,
behind the Sun.

CAUTION:  One thing to be a little concerned about, is that right now, the Sun, Mercury, Ketu &
Jupiter are all moving through Virgo.

Mercury's the only one that's extremely happy there.  So, don't allow this intense 'karmic' time,
of Virgoness to make you crazy.

Some symptoms of too much Virgo, are being to overly critical, of oneself, (Sun), and one's ideals,
or convictions, (Jupiter).

It feels so spontaneous when the planets move around.  We just start having these intensely, Virgoish thoughts.

But, knowing that 'this' is coming because of this unique transit is a great Wisdom from Jyotish
for us.

So, contemplate the nature of Virgo, and 'perfection' this month.

But, don't get caught up, especially in the lower, or negative aspects of it.

FINALLY,....

A Few final thoughts.

Mars continues in it's good sign, Aries, for the entire Month.

In fact, Mars continues in this very unusually long transit/Aries, through January of 2006!

(Moving into Taurus only on February 6th)!

So, enjoy this very long time of good Mars energy to do, and accomplish!

However don't allow this naturally, more vigorous Mars energy to be too Marish!

Like every planet the positives of Mars include, 'Courage, fighting for just causes', enthuiasm,
natural excitment, and passion'.

The negatives of Mars include, fighting for revenge, betrayal, lieing, cheating, stealing, killing, and
all manners of criminal behavior.

Unfortunately, Mars during this time, is like the Sun shining down equally upon us all!

So, be aware of those who would mis-use this potentially good Mars time for any negatives.

Venus also, is still going through Libra, now.... (Since Sept. 6th, Venus has been in it's Own
Sign, libra.)

Continue enjoying this great, special, uniquely satisfying Heart energy, till October 2nd when Venus
moves into Scorpio.

Also, Mars & Venus are in opposite signs, Aries & Libra, during this time, so there will be a tendency
to fight for loved ones, and for special, heart felt passions.

FINALLY!

During this next Sun in Virgo period, in fact, coming up in only 10 days!

Jupiter begins it's movement into Libra, on September 27th!!!!

This is one of the most positive and special transits in a number of years, because
for the first time in 5 years, Jupiter, finally, moves out of Saturn's negative aspect.

Since 2000, when Jupiter & Saturn went into a Planetary War, (in Aries), they have
been wrapped up, together, most especially Saturn negatively aspecting and influencing Jupiter!

This has brought on a World-wide recession, where millions of individuals lost their
jobs, and all the World's economies, have suffered.

Now, as Jupiter finally moves ahead and out of Saturn's grip, we'll see, finally, the
beginning of a new & exciting Jupiter progress & prosperity cycle!

Over the next 6 years, Jupiter will move through Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, (it's own sign), Capricorn
Aquarius, and Pisces.

2 of these 6 years of signs, Sagittarius & Pisces, represent Jupiter's Own Signs, so these will be
extremely positive and uplifting years.

This period will be dominated by great progress and prosperity for humanity.

Only negative will be Saturn's continual movement through Cancer & Leo, now and over the next 4 years, which will be trying unless we also take enough time to appease Saturn!

So, seems like quite a bit of interesting and fascinating Transits, going on this month!

Hopefully, next month's transit of the Moon, through Saturn & Cancer, won't bring on another intense Katrina type hurricane!

All glory and love, to the Guru, of the Universe!

Jai Guru!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Dear Mark,

Nice writing. I really enjoyed your article on the positive use of the malefics in our chart.
Keep up the good work.

John Charpentier

Dear John:

Thank you.   I'm glad you liked it.  It's one of the most special of my insights into Jyotish, is
that the 'malefics' in our charts, which Jyotish has been able to identify so well,....

should also be considered slightly differently then the past.

Previously, 'malefics' have been thought of as our challenges, weaknesses, and negatives,
but not very often has it been described that these same, 'challenged planets', are in fact,
the very planets that we're meant to improve....

Learning to look at all malefic events, planets, even dasas, and transits, as opportunities for
growth, or healing is a much more natural way of understanding these malefics....

The biggest problem with our 'MALEFICS' are that where we have them, there represent the
areas within us where we're confused, delused, or mistaken.

So, if Mars is malefic, we think we're going the right speed, but end up having accidents.

If Saturn is acting malefically, then we stay up to late, work too hard, and end up getting sick!

So, the Philosophy and practicality of learning about one's malefics, is so that one pierces into
one's primary areas of ignorance!

Once I discovered what my malefics were, it helped me not only understand myself better, but
also change myself, in ways that never occured to me before.

This immediately lead to tremendous self-improvements and an end to many negatives in-
cluding, stress, depression, worry, anxities, and sickness.

Since I've discovered the benefic side of Saturn, for example, I have not been sick for over 5 years!

Nice talking with you.

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Nature's Astrology

m.kincaid@...

Dear Friends:

This last weekand all the very harsh happenings of the hurricane Katrina, made me think a lot about the purpose and goals of various 'Malefics' in Jyotish, as in life.

This last week, we had a wide variety of 'malefic' situations going on, from the Moon transiting
where Saturn is, (ie. in Cancer), to Mars' influence upon Saturn and the Moon, and Rahu, from
Pisces, also influencing Cancer, and finally the tail end of the Waning Moon situation which
seems to correspond very exactly to all kinds of griefs.

Now, the Moon's begun Waxing, and you can immediately feel that relief.

Before, I could hardly think of the situation and it was literally like a storm in Consciousness,
very similar to the physical 'storms' we had.

The Philosophy of Malefics and Benefics is a very fascinating aspect of Jyotish, Astrology.

Because knowing that these are your strengths and these 'others' are your weaknesses, does
help.

When you know there's a real, concrete reason why you suffer, fail, make mistakes, have accidents, etc. then, we at least don't feel the universe is unfair.

We may not understand yet, how these effects are due to our actions, and we may wish we
have the karma of another, but it is slightly comforting knowing it's there, in our charts.

Then, as our study of our charts continue, we begin to feel even more the 'rightness', of our
charts, that they really do 'fit' us, then we begin to accept, in a way that we may not ever, have
done before.

With acceptance, comes the real 'preparedness' for change and self-transformation.

Though traditionally, most people in Jyotish have a kind of fatalistic view towards these same
malefics.

"Oh, you've recently moved in Saturn dasa.  You just have to learn to weather the storm."

Though the prospect of continuing like this, for another 16 years, can be very depressing!

#1  This is the first principle of Malefics, that the different aspects of our charts, represent the
positive and negative karmas, of our lives.

How we deal with this knowledge is up to us, we either do the best we can, or we become
interested in what Jyotish like's to call 'remedial measures'.

There is a traditional belief that certain malefic situations may be improved by the picking up
of remedies, like mantras, gems, doing particular behaviors on specific days, and on and on.

But, there is quite a bit of controversy about remedies depending upon how much each person
believes in the absoluteness of fate.

For me, fortunately, I came to Jyotish, now, about 18 years ago, from a heavily flavored self-
transformative, Vedic background.

I'd been meditating since 1971, (now over 34 years), and had explored yoga and ayurved,
something called yaguas, (Vedic recitations), among the many Vedic disciplines that are
available.

Therefore I was already quite believing in the possibility of self-improvement so when I
stumbled upon Jyotish the belief in self-transformation came naturally.

Though I have to admit when I slipped into my Saturn Mahadasa in the spring of 1991, and all
manners of grief stated to come to me, I began to think maybe there was something to this
'fate' thing.

Having Saturn in my 12th house, I was still not prepared for the systematic losses that I began
experiencing from loosing wives, money saved, child passed away and my father dies, all in the
next few years.

I remember turning to Saturn and saying:  "Saturn, I know it is you!  Why are you doing this
to me?  I thought I was in-tune with you."

Though now I see the fallacy of my thought but at the time, I thought this was a legitimate
inquiry!

Saturn however only said:   'hahahahahahahahahahhahhahaha".

On and on and on.  Saturn only laughed for about 2 minutes.  Have you ever had Saturn or God
laugh at you?  It's quite an alarming situation.

After about 2 minutes he stopped and I was sitting there quite embarrassed, but in that humble
moment I thought, .... "okay, what do you want from me?"

And then Saturn only said 2 words, ....."more silence"........."more silence.......".......
"more silence......."

That began my real understanding and appreciation of Saturn.

I may have thought I understand 'him' before, but not I was to begin in earnest to truely,
understand.

And, now, I'd received a kind of mantra....."more silence".......

Over the next few years, as I looked at my life I realized two things.

As much as I thought what silence was, I still could have 'more' of it!

So, whenever I found myself in a Saturnish type of experience, instead of struggling against it,
I began to let go.  I surrendered, I let go of my way, my thinking, and my feelings, and accepted
that here, too, I might allow myself to gravitate towards more silence.

Fortunately, I'd already had about 20 years of meditating so I knew quite a bit about this
process of developing more silence.

But, now, I was to think that I still needed more!

Fortunately, too, I also had an idea of how deeply silent I could become.   In the Philosophy of
Vedic Yoga, it's well known that the full potential of one's inner silence is literally 'infinite'.

In fact, Consciousness, sometimes, in it's fully developed state, is described in terms of absolute
silence!

Always still, ever refreshing, enlivened, 24 hour bliss, deep, deep silence, as the nature of one's
pure consciousness, ....

These descriptions went a long way at helping me realize I, too, even after years of meditation,
still could have more!

Now, however, I was truely motivated to change.

I didn't want another 12 years of the Saturn grief like the last 4 years, so I was highly motivated
to change!

Maybe that's another important part of our growth towards self-improvement; we really have to
want it!

We may say we do, but at some point, we really realize, we want that something!

Now I understand, that the Philosophy of Malefics, has another important function in addition
to just being indicative of our negative karmas.

The Philosophy of Malefics is also about our specific, precise, very personal areas in which we
were born to improve ourselves.

The Malefics not only represent our weaknesses, but, they also represent those areas that are
our areas of opportunities.

Understanding that for every negative, there might be a blessing there, in disguise, is a powerful insight gained from Astrology.

For example, if we're experiencing accidents, and/or physical rashes, or too many people are angry at us...... we can blame situations, or the environment, but at some point we get it.

"Oh, I have Mars where in my chart?"      An astrologer may help us understand that the various
negatives of Mars are due to 'our' Mars, and this indeed, is the first real step of self-improvement!

Mars typically likes to blame others.  But, since we know understand, better, the law of karma,
we have to accept our responsibility.

Understanding that our various, negative 'karmas', are due to the specific, and precise Mars,
in our charts, is that first step.

Later we begin to wonder, "Is there anything else I can do, to change this?"

Then we begin looking into these various "Jyotish remedies", which are becoming even more
popular, today.

For Mars there are mantras we can recite, there are gems we can wear.  I even know people,
who found specific 'pitta' pacifying remedies from Ayurved, which seem to help the body,
especially, become less fiery.

Then there is the element of Vedic Psychology that understands that our various 'pitta' of Marish
karmas, are due to our own thought patterns.

Even modern (Western) Psychology, today, understands that we are the one's that are
sabotaging ourselves.

Understanding that the Mars in our charts, is a reflection of the unique and precise thought
pattern that we have created from our past karmas, is a very important self-improvement step!

Because if it's really true that we created this, or the configuration in our chart, then, maybe,
just maybe, we have the power to re-create, this thing.

So, we begin a journey of self-exploration, to see, if indeed, we can change ourselves, through
understanding and then, through self-effort, at changeing that Marish side of us, that's so far,
lead us to accidents, or fights, or heat rashes.

Anger, fire, standing up for ourselves, these are just a few of Mars' unique attributes.

We're obviously not supposed to be a door mat, but maybe, our chart is trying to tell us, that
we're meant to become slightly less Marish!

Or, in terms of Ayurved, maybe, we're meant to balance that very highly, out of balance, Pitta,
energy, that's there, even in our pulses.

So, we try it, we take the idea and understanding of our Mars,
whether, it's in the first house, or 7th, or with our Sun, or Mercury's, we #1 Understand,
that 'that' configuration may be the reason why we're having this or that Mars problem.

But, now, we begin the process of thinking differently.

"Maybe it's not really others fault, but maybe it's 'I', that needs to change.

So, we try it.  We take the first step, at diminishing the Mars intensity.
We take to heart, more the philosophy of turning the other cheek!

We entertain the belief in compromise, in forgiveness, and leave the intense World of anger, fire,
and revenge.

Only we can take this journey.

But, we've already learned that Jyotish works!

That's very inspiring, because this understanding, already, creates in us, a receptivity to moving
into a better inner world.

Our charts, in fact, are how the 'Guru' sees us.

We may not see ourselves this way, but Jyotish, or the Guru, looks at us, differently.

These are your strengths, and these are your weaknesses, your negatives, or areas to change!

Before this, we might have thought, "ahhhh, they are the problem".

This is the classic problem of kuja dosha.

Over 40% of people have one variety of this negative Mars configuration.

Mars, in the lst, 4th, 7th & 12th houses, especially, all directly influence the 7th house of
marriage and partnerships.

All manners of Marish grief can be found when Mars' kuja dosha is the situation.

Remembering, however, that this configuration, too, is just the karmic situation that we were
born with; and we have the power to change our thought habits and inclinations, is key!

All we need to do, is take the first step.

I remember when one man came to get Jyotish, marriage counseling.  Actually, his 4th wife was
dragging him to the session.  His first words, even, were:  "Listen,....don't blame me, it's my wife
that's the real problem!"

Right away, even before I looked at his chart, I heard Mars!

He was blaming someone else, which is that classic Mars delusion.

So, I wasn't too surprised to find he had Mars, smack in the middle of his 7th house.

My biggest challenge was in trying to help him see that in fact, it was really 'him'.... that was
the problem.

I started by saying, "I'm sure your wife has something to do with it.  You know it takes 2, to
make a problem.  But, let's look at your chart first.  And, this is your 4th marriage, right?"

"Ya, but they all!, were the problem."

Well, at least I planted a seed there.  "Okay, well, in looking at your chart, I find what is called
the classic Mars, kuja dosha, going on."

He said:  "I've heard of that.  What does that mean?"

"Well, it means a number of things.  Number one, it means you will attract Marish situations, in
your partnerships!"

"Well, you're certainly right there."  "Also, it sometimes means that, that very Mars, is the filter
through which you see your relations or partners.
For example, when your wife comes into the room, do you find yourself getting irritable?"

"Hey,....that's right."   "Well, that's not just her fault.  She's really just the messenger, of your
karma.   Having Mars in your 7th house of partnerships, means you have this karma, of Marish
interactions."

"You have that right."  "Okay, not take it a step deeper.   Understand then, that 'they' are really
just the messengers.  Your karmas, here, really start with yourself.

Though I notice over here, you also have a very good Venus."

In fact, he had a great Venus.  In his 10th house his Venus was in it's Own sign, and he had
already told me how well appreciate he is at work.

"This is very good, because it shows you, that you can be appreciative, and successful, in inter-
personal relations.  You are well appreciated, even loved at work.

Now, my #1 prescription for you, is for you to bring this good ability, to your 7th house of
marriage.  For 2 weeks, I want you to not go immediately to the war chest, but to flow through
the better Venus energies like you know how to do, at work."

He didn't look very convinced, after all this was his 4th marriage.  But, there was a glimmer of
hope there in his eyes.

"Okay,.....I'll try."

I didn't hear from him for three weeks, and when he called the first thing he said was:  "ahhhh,
Mark, ..... ahhh,....I don't think it's going....to....."  And, then he stated laughing profusely, and
in between his whole heartily belly laughter he said:  "My wife thinks I can't do anything wrong!"

He continued laughing....    "Great,...tell me what happened."

"Well, I didn't think it would work, but I tried what you said.  Every time I saw her, and spoke to her, I tried to find something nice to say.  Like you said, I tried to appreciate her more.  And, the first 5 times, she looked really suspicious, hehehe.   But, then after about a week, she began
to soften.  She began to even look at me differently, and after 2 weeks, it began to be even,
well,....nice......  I didn't call you this last week, cuz I just wanted to make sure it was real.  But,
now, I know it is!"

Like this, every malefic situation in our lives, as in our charts, is there, for us, as our grand,
opportunities for personal growth.

These same malefics, which are so often thought of as our 'curses', are in fact, the very
opportunities for our self-development.

Each malefic, in fact, represents the very precise, and exact area of our selves, and our personal
natures, that we're meant to growth within.

As we then, begin to think differently, in any of these malefic situations, we too, will find joy
and surprising, relief and happiness in even the most troublesome, and sad situations.

This is the real nature of the Malefics, in Jyotish.

They're not just symbolic of our problems, but are in fact, deeply symbolic of exactly how we're
meant to improve or change.

As we make these steps, we will have really achieved the real purpose of our lives.

We were born to live our benefic strengths, but, we were also meant to discover, and transform
ourselves, in the very ways of our malefics!

Unfortunately, this Philosophy of human nature is not well understood, so you will not get much
encouragement from your friends, family, or environment.

But, the extent to which you, already, have seen the various truths of Jyotish, let this encourage
you, to try this new insight about the very depressing, and cloud overshadowing areas of your
malefics.

Our malefics, in fact, are our best friends.  They are presently, in our face, just so we learn to
put better attention on what we truely, need to learn.

As we take even a few steps into this new world, we'll be amazed at how wonderful, positive,
and how much goodness can come to us!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Star Reports
Up-coming Transits....

Dear Friends & Members:                                                                        August 14, 2005

The other day a friend called me and said:  "Mark what's going on, right now?"

I launched into my usual Jyotish, transits explanation, and they said:  "Well, it's always
something!"

Something about that expression inspired me to write this article.

Cuz it does seem like there's "always something", or especially something negative, always
going on.

But, there's more to it, then that.

The transits, Understanding of Astrology, does capture what's going to be happening today,
or in the future, coming to us, from the stars.....
however, there's an intimate Wisdom, there in this knowledge, which is the true purpose
of us going through all these things....

For example, if you're one of those people who are strongly 'affected' by the transits, coming regularly during any phase of the month; then, it's very important that you 'learn'
more about this aspect of Jyotish.

If you, on the other hand, are more affected by the 'dasas', or have found a direct correlation between some of your life difficulties, and the so-called 'malefic' planets in your
chart, then,....the dasas may be important for you to understand better.

The "KEY", is to Identify, the negative or malefic, 'thing' that you're going through...
and then, see if you can find the negative or malefic part of your chart.

Once you find this 'Astrological' link, then the process of self-improvement can be started,
specifically directed towards the development or strengthening of any of the Astrological
planets...

For example, if you find that you're regularly 'rough' of feeling 'strange' or upset, when the
Moon's small, or negative affected by 'malefics', then, this may be very important information for you.

If you then, find that the Moon, is not particularly 'strong' either by Sign or Size!, then, you
may find much improvement by learning to strengthen the Moon!

Right now, Saturn is transiting through Cancer, the home of the Moon, and in my experience,
many people have been feeling 'rough' ever since Saturn first started moving into Cancer.

Therefore, 'strengthening' the Moon, or, balancing Saturn, may be too very significant things
to do, right now.

Up-Coming Transits....

The 'BEST' up-coming transit is the Sun's regularly, yearly movement into Leo.

On August 16th, the Sun first moves into it's Own Sign, Leo.

Benefits:

This is one of the two 'best' periods of the Sun's potential during each year.

If it's true the expression:  "where there's a will, there's a way".... then, this period
will be very important for the beginning or success of any life activity.

One of the Sun;s  qualities is that it represents the 'will', as well as self-confidence, and
self-esteem.

Therefore, when the Sun's strong, then,....take advantage of this very positive, good time
of the Sun.

Other Transits....

There are two other primary 'Transits', that are going on, now.

#1, The recent Ketu & Jupiter, Planetary War that we've been talking about, will probably,
be diminishing over the next few weeks.

On Friday, August 12th, both Ketu & Jupiter were at the 21st degree of Virgo.
This represented the heighest 'intensity' of their collision.

Some people have noticed already, Saturday and Sunday, were 'better' in this regard.

Some are still reeling from this intensity.

Over the next 7-14 days, Jupiter and Ketu will begin drifting apart as Jupiter increases in
degrees, while Ketu's degrees in Virgo, diminish. (Rahu & Ketu, if you don't know this, go
in the opposite directions of all the other planets).

#2  The other most important, dramatic transit is Saturn's movement into Cancer.

Saturn, almost always represents where Nature's trying to show us, where we need to grow, in terms of Saturn's balance.

Therefore, Saturn's movment through Cancer, means for most of us, that we need to bring
more peace, silence or balance, into the very nature of the mind, feelings, or heart.

If you've been feeling any 'roughness', especially on a kind of deep, inner, feeling level, this
may be 'this' recent Transit.

It almost feels like a kind of dasa, experience, as it's more continual, then the usual, 30 day
Moon cycle, where the Moon's always getting bigger or smaller.

One possible solution, is to pay more attention to that inner, fine-feeling level, and 'do'
things,.....

o   have more fun....
o   nurture yourself, more, especially on a feeling level....
o   meditate more....
o   get more rest....

Whatever you can do to strengthen that inner feeling level....will help.....

Final Transits...

There are two other, simultaneous transits, presently going on that are worth knowing
about.

#1  Mars, the planet of action, doing and achieving, continues for the entire next month,
and in fact, till, February 5th, 2006, when it goes into Taurus.

o   Find the 'Aries' in your chart, and this will be the primary area of 'benefit' in your life,
where Mars will be the most dramatic.

#2  The other, most significant Transit, is that Venus has moved into Virgo, recently.

Because this is the 'worst' transit of Venus, traditionally, this therefore is an important 'one'
to watch.

If you notice feeling more critical and especially feel hard or critical on others, especially
loved one's then, this may be due to Venus' recent movment into Virgo.

Venus, recently went into Virgo on August 12th, and will stay there till:  September 6th....
when it moves into Libra.

Finally, enjoy the next 10 days of the Moon's Waxing cycle till Full Moon on August 19th....

Take maximum advantage of this outer, dynamic time of the Month!

Jai Guru

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

BENEFITS of Astrology

Dear Friends:

This morning as the Moon moved into Virgo, where all-mighty Jupiter is presently transiting, it
was quite fascinating to watch my mind move, effortlessly, towards more uplifting and 'knowledge' oriented things.

This morning I was reflecting on the entire field of Jyotish/Astrology and this subject, of the
'Benefits' of Astrology came up.

See, there's an expression in the Vedic Consciousness sphere that goes like this:

"Knowledge is the greatest Purifier."

I've heard of this expression for years, and yet, coming from the meditation angle since 1970, I
would have thought the correct expression would be something like:  "Consciousness, or the
Expansion of Consciousness is tthe greatest Purifier."

Then, in 1988, I discovered Jyotish and all of a sudden, it hit me.    As I studied my chart, and
came to 'understand' myself through all the various symbolisms, principles and ideas of Jyotish;
all of a sudden I realized what this meant.

See, Jyotish represents the 'knowledge' of your life, both in theory and in specific and precise
details.

Therefore, coming to 'understand' yourself more clearly, through one's chart, is itself, the
GREATEST benefit of Astrology.

There's another expression in the Vedic tradition which goes like this:

"To live the dharma of another is one of the greatest sins in life.
But, to live one's own dharma is the greatest good!"

I think of that now, when I think about our Astrology.  Our charts represent the 'vision' of our
dharma, which includes our greatest good.

And, once we come to know the ins and the outs of our chart's, then we get the greatest
ability to indeed, live that dharma, or Life Purpose.

Without Knowledge or Wisdom, too often, we're found living the dharma, or life purpose of
others, or society.

Try and remember what you were like before you started knowing or studying your Astrology.

You might have been trying to figure out who you are, or maybe you were following in the
'crowd' of others in your World.

Others were going to school, so you did too.  Others were getting married, so of course, so
should I.

But, Astrology has always been there to help us.

Especially in such places as India, where Jyotish has become such an intimate part of life; many,
have gone to the Astrologer, at the first sign of trouble or problems.

Unfortunately, the entire field of Jyotish today, has fallen to some degree of unremarkableness.

When I first started studying Jyotish, any book I'd pick up, would have 95 or 190 pages on the
Jyotish, and then, at the end, there would be 5 or 10 pages on what was called "REMEDIAL"
Measures, or Astrological remedies.

But, the predominant 'feeling' that was contained in the books, was that there really wasn't
that much you could do about 'things'.

If you were in Sade Sat, then, the best thing you could do was to wait it out, try and be as
patient as possible, and in 5 to 7 1/2 years, things might improve.

What a waste!

Fortunately, I grew up in the self-improvement Philosophy of the other aspects of the Vedic
Tradition.  In fact, I had been practicing meditation, ayurved, yoga, and even such advanced
Vedic regimens as yaguas, dharshan, and many others since 1970.

So, I was very highly steeped in the Vedic Philosophy that the Nature of Human Life is Infinite!

Ved tells us that deep within every human soul, is the Infinite, organizing power of the Self, of
the Universe.

Some call it God, some call it Brahman, others, still, say:  The Self.

Whatever you call it, but the Philosophy of Yoga believes that this 'Self' represents the full,
undeveloped potential of human life.

So, you try it.  You learn to meditate, to experience directly this supposed inner field, and
amazing things begin to happen to you.

You feel better.  Your mind becomes clearer, you feel more relaxed, corrdination between mind
and body improves, amazing things happen, and with each day's full of meditation, consciousness grows.

I know this field intimately.  It's been my career study for over 34 years now.

However, when I discovered Jyotish, in early 1988, I realized what an amazing fit Astrology &
Consciousness might be together.

Over the first 4, or 5 years of my Jyotish study, I realized those that meditated, but didn't know
their Astrology, were very behind, so to speak.

Together, Consciousness, expansion, and Jyotish, which represents, really the highest form of
pure Knowledge, .....together, they represent a very complete wisdom of life.

BENEFITS

#1 BENEFIT, of Jyotish is that it represents the complete, and precise, specific knowledge of
exactly who we are and what we've come to do.

Traditionally, people have always gone to the Astrologer to get pearls of wisdom as to our lives.

This still continues today.  Those who have studied Jyotish professionally, often, have gained
the uncanny ability to 'understand' what the various, and sometimes complicated Astrological
configurations 'mean' in our charts.

So, if you haven't gone to many Astrologers, HAVE YOUR CHART, READ!

When I first started studying Jyotish, I was told have your chart read by 3 different Astrologers.

Now, I understand why.

When you go through the process of 3 different and distinct Astrological readings, some things
being said, will be the same.  Other things will be different.

What I've learned, in going to see 3 or more, is that what appears the same in all these
different readings, probably is one's chart.  What appears different, may in fact, be due partially
to the subjectivity of the Astrologer.

Astrology is after all, a 'SUBJECTIVE' Science.  This means it depends upon the subjectivity of
the Consciousness of the Astrologer.

#2  PRIMARY BENEFITS, of Astrology.

Today, millions of people have become introduced to the deep Astrology of the East, Vedic
Astrology or Jyotish.

Today, as a result, many have begun the process of Self-Study, regarding their Astrology as well
as going to Astrologers.

When I was in India in 1988, one of the Vedic Scholars said:  "You all Will Be Your Own Best
Astrologer."

I was very surprised by this, because who was I, and how could I, possibly be my own best
Astrologer?

But, after about 2 years studying my chart I had the most amazing experience.

One day I ran into a friend who'd been studying Jyotish for years.  In fact I'd talked to him
several times in my first 2 years, and he'd given me keen insight previously.

However, this time as we talked and 'he' reflected upon my Astrology, he said some things, as I
stood there thinking, all of a sudden I realized, he was not right.

I, in fact, knew the hidden meanings of what we'd been talking about, ....but why?

Then, I realized.   It was because I'd begun the process of Self-Learning, my own Astrology.

And, because we're here, inside of ourselves, we have an intimate role of becoming a true,
Learner of our charts.

In Vedic Philosophy, this is understood in terms of the Rishi aspect of the Ved.  Rishi means
knowledge of the Self, therefore one of the most important principles of Ved, is that life, and
pure knowledge is meant to be known by OneSelf!

No one else, can live our lives for us, so we're meant to be the truest, 'knowers' of our lives!

Conclusion:

Come to KNOW, your own Astrology.

Self-Knowledge, is the key to success in Life!

Without self-knowledge, unclarity, problems, mistakes and grief and suffering result.

Jyotish represents the most precise, clear, self-knowledge, in the World.

#3  Specific Benefits of Astrology

The many benefits of Astrology can be both broad, and general, even Philosophical, or at the
same time, specific, precise and uniquely individual.

(a)  General Benefits of Philosophy

You can hear about 'Saturn' and what it's negative or malefic consequences may be, and then,
learn about Saturn's other side, benefic and positive as well.

Just hearing about the positive Side of Saturn, can enliven in you, the desire to grow in terms
of Saturn's many benefits.

(b)  Specific Application of Jyotish

Secondly, the primary benefit of Jyotish comes from the specific, precise, application of the
Principles of Jyotish, to the unique, individual charts, or life history of any individual.

In my experience, we all are living 3 main aspects of our Jyotish.

We're living a kind of integration of our....

o   Charts.....
o   Our Dasas..... and
o   Our Transits....

These three aspects of our Astrology are the 3 most important parts of our charts.

I've found that 95% of the time, looking at these three aspects gives the needed insight,
into exactly what has been going wrong, and hope we can solve any and every problem in life!

#4    2 Primary Aspects of Jyotish

There are two primary aspects of Jyotish, that everyone should understand clearly.

(1)   Understanding....

Our Astrology charts, have the ability to help us 'Understand', exactly why we're the way we
are and 'why' we're going through what we're going through.

When you come to Understand your charts, further; whether through a Jyotish reading, or self-
study, you'll find a tremendous peace of mind, knowing the exact reasons,....'WHY'.....

There are 2 Primary Parts.... of this Principle of Understanding.

First, there are our BENEFICS, which represent all the strengths, or positivities, in our lives,
especially at birth!

Secondly, there is something called, our MALEFICS, which is Jyotish's way of helping us
understand where our problems come from.

Philosophically, Jyotish identifies, 'malefic' planets or malefic Astrological configurations as the
main source and reason for any and every problem in life.

If we have any emotional problems we look to the Moon.
If we have any problems of lack of self-worth, or self-confidence, we look to the Sun.
If we have problems of intellect, decison makings, judgements, etc. then, we look to Mercury.
If we have relationship problems, of any kind, primarily, we look to Mars & Venus, the two
  relationship planets.
If we have any health problems, we look, primarily to Saturn.
If we have any spiritual, or religious, belief problems we look to our Jupiters!
If we have any obsessions, compulsions, bad habits, and even addictions, we look to Rahu/ketu.

Jyotish has this amazing Philosophy and Principles of Benefics and Malefics.

Even without any self-improvement of the so-called Malefics, there is a great Wisdom that comes
from even UNDERSTANDING, the 'whys' of our strengths and weaknesses.

(2)     Self-Improvement

There is however, another aspect of Jyotish, as there is in life, which has to do with self-
development.  Commonly, this feature is understood in the ideas of Remedial Measures, or
Jyotish Remedies.

Contained within these ideas of 'remedies' is the entire Philosophy of Self-Improvement!

In other words, our Jyotish is not only about our fate, or pre-conditioned realities, but,....
Jyotish is also about the opportunities, and even practical improvements in all the areas of
our lives, that aren't yet, PERFECT!

Some describe Jyotish as being associated with the 8th House, of 'transformation'.

As, Yoga, and mantras has to do with the 5th House, and Ayurved, has a lot to do with the 6th
house of health; the 8th House is not only the house of addicitons, or compulsions!

The 8th House, is truely, mostly about life Transformations.

If we learn how to transform ourselves, from where we are, into the positive values of our
future, then we'll say, I grew, I improved myself, or I neutralized, or transformed some negative,
or even, malefic part of me, into it's more balanced, healthy and positive value!

This is the truest insight into the field of Jyotish remedies, or remedial measures.  Self-Improvement is the true purpose of our Lives!

We weren't just born to live the inevitable, fatalistic, or even predictable aspects of our lives,
or charts.

We were also born to grow, to improve, and to accomplish and become successful.

This isn't just due to our fate.

This 'possibility' is intimately wrapped up in our Will, as our way.

In fact there is that expression:  "Where there is a Will, there is a way."

In other words, it's up to us!

We have the inner potential for growth, for accomplishing anything!

The most recent past of the last 200 years, shows that human life, has a great potential
for Self-empowerment, and Self-actualization.

The World, today, if full of countless examples of individuals, who, inspite of their upbringings,
aspired for more, and become self-made, men and women, leaders in their fields, and
inspirations for the rest of us to follow!

Jyotish is the Ultimate Self-Improvement Technology.

You hear so much today about Self-Improvement Philosophys and Ideas.

There's this weight or diet program.  There's this other, technique of Mastering your life.

The ideas and practices are everywhere.

But, literally all of them are a shadow of the comleteness, of Vedic Astrology and Jyotish.

No Knowledge, Philosophy, or 'ism' in the World today, can begin to capture the complete,
thorough, and life affirming possibility of Vedic Knowledge and especially Jyotish.

Our Jyotish charts, contain the key to self-improvement, and self-actualization, for our lives!

The answers to life's problems and situations, are ultimately, 'specific'.

Philosophy is good, however, what Jyotish understands is the exact path and life that we are
living, is a reflection or mirror image of what our Charts say to us.

In other words, the answers to all problems in life, is deeply personal, and individual.

Each person's chart, gives the specific answers to the specific and precise problems of that life!

A good Astrologer will gain the ability to help anyone, point you in the right direction.

However, ultimately, each one of us, needs to come to understand ourselves, our charts, and
our Solutions, by ourself!

No one can do it for us!

Even the great Prophets, knew that 'they' weren't supposed to 'do' it for others.

Christ was famous for saying:  "I can give a man a fish, or I can teach him how to fish."

Jyotish represents the knowledge and Wisdom of how to Fish!

Thank you Mark for your positive outlook concerning Shani.

It makes me feel better though not settled :-) Surangma

Dear Surangma:

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Now, listen and follow those
feelings more. Feeling unsettled, anxious, worried, etc.
are often Saturn affects upon the Mind or Moon.

One of the lessons of Saturn is to learn to get more rest, balance, and
create silence until even those qualities, disappear!

When the maleficness of Sani is there, it's Nature's call

for us to generate more inner bliss.

Sincerely,

Dear Sriram:

Glad to hear you're enjoying them.  And, regards weather, one of the best things I've learned
is by watching the daily, monthly and yearly transits....

Nature, herself, lives the realities of Astrology, in creating the weather....

Some day, one of us, will excel at seeing this and save people a lot of grief, by being able to
better predict the weather...

take care

Star Reports

ALERT!

Dear Friends:

Please note there are a number of simultaneous effects, presently going on, that will be
worthwhile to pay more attention to.

#1      NEW MOON, Friday, August 5th....

This is the time to take it easy, get more rest, and be more patient, as the Moon swings to
it's maximum inward stage of it's Waning Moon Cycle....

#2      Right now, the Moon's at the 29th degree of Gemini, and Saturn's at the 8th degree of
Cancer.

Over the next 24 hours, the Moon & Saturn will Collide in a major PLANETARY WAR....
Therefore take even extra care, tomorrow to not strain, rush or be too impatient.
Good news is, this will only be a 24 hour alert!

#3      Ketu-Jupiter PLANETARY WAR!       Only 2 degrees apart:  Jupiter 19 & Ketu 21 Virgo!

For a number of weeks, Ketu & Jupiter have been getting closer and closer.  Right now, in fact,
they're only 2 degrees apart.  Therefore, don't allow the Rahu/Ketu part of you dominate the
Jupiter, what is right part.

This will culminate on August 12th when both Jupiter & Ketu will be at the 21st degree of Virgo.

Other then these simultaneous on-going transits!, have fun, enjoy the summer and be easy!

For example Mars is in Aries, which is traditionally a very good thing.

Oh, yes forgot....

#4      Mars is however, fully aspecting Cancer from Aries right now.  This represents a very direct influence Saturn which is at the 8th degree/Cancer.  Mars, at the 9th degree Aries, means it's 4th house aspect is coming down very closely to Saturn.

Whenever Mars & Saturn influence each other, their effects tend to be negative.  This is because
their nature's are so different and therefore people get more confused about being too active,
vs. being more patient.

Because of Mars' influence, people will tend to 'do', and be active, when at times, they really
need to take it more easy.

Good Luck!

Dear friend,
Please do not re-write Indian History. Our history has
been tampered by everyone in the world. Our
politicians are so great that they never gave any
importance to our history. Every where brahmins have
been neglected. No importance to intelligence. We have
been torn apart by these politicians in each and every
sphere.
Do not assume that chistianity is the first religion
that swept south. It is your mistake to think so.
Europeans were able to destroy culture of each and
every country that they stepped onto. Only in India,
they were not able to do so. So they acted like
businessmen and slowly started destroying out culture,
religin and every thing.
Now it is our politicians, who are very fond of
continuing the british tradition.
Indians never converted anyone. As out belief is that
a person should get birth in Hindu religon and nobody
can be converted to hindu.
These conversions are spreaded by christians and
muslim.

God save our country

In the clash or amalgamation of the cultures of the North and the South, the majority want to assert, dominate and enforce their culture and religion upon the South and also upon the minority religions in India such as Islam and Christianity.  Therefore they call their culture Hindutva (Indutva) which at present has no meaning or relevance being far away from the Original India or the River Indus.

Thank you for your kind, loving and caring words, my dear Hindu friend!

I can see that your gita book has taught you well.

As far as me killing cows...i don't know what ever gave you that idea. Seems you skipped over most of what i wrote (by the way, i read every word you write ).

Pankaja, God does not kill cows. He doesn't really kill anything. Man kills.

I said that, when we are in heaven, we will be as God is. We can speak anything we want into existance. If i want to eat a steak then i can just speak and a steak will appear before me. I don't have to kill anything. Besides, you made an assumption that i was referring to beef steak. A steak can come from many different animals...but a steak in heaven would not come from anything dead. Because there is no death in God's Kingdom.

Am so glad you appreciate what the Lord Jesus Christ has created! Too many people do not see the beauty in nature. Brother Branham was also a nature lover. You should read of the time he prayed for a wounded opposum mother. It's a moving testimony! He had such a deep love of all of God's creatures!

I have not read this gita book you are talking about...but I'm sure there is truth in it. Are you referring to the Baghavadgita (not sure of the spelling)? If so, then i have read a few parts of it. It's many, many books in one. Some call it the 'Hindu Bible'. I believe much of it was written before the great flood. Back when Krishna was a king. Nearly 6,000 years ago! Quite an amazing book.

Too bad you cannot see that i am sincere in everything i say. My friends know me and they can tell you i mean what i say and i say what i mean. I'm an aries/tiger, in the zodiac. People born under these signs are fiercly and brutally honest. Not that i mean to offend people but sometimes i unintentionally do.
I don't read horrorscopes but i do believe that we are born under the influence of stars and gravitational fields. It does effect our personality somewhat. Brother Branham talked about it a bit, and he also said even your name can have an effect on your personality.

My name, Shane, is a Gaelic or Keltic name. It's John in English. It has a good meaning and I'm thankful i have it.

By the way, what does Pankaja mean? It has a nice sound to it.

Well, you seem to be a bit sleepy, so I'll stop chewin your ear off and let you go get some rest.

Calling me a dog...come on now! You need some winks my friend.

A dog goes back to his own vomit...sort of like a person that has forsaken the good things God gave him, to go eat something man has perverted.
I really despise man-made things. Nothing makes me happier than to be out with nature. I can stand under a grove of palm trees and talk to them like they were my own brethren. Have you ever done that Pankaja?

By the way, if you stepped in a fire ant hill, or had cockroaches crawling all over you, would you be kind to them too?

Have a nice nap!

God bless all that Love the Lord Jesus Christ.

        Your friend (by faith),

                         Brother Shane

p.s. - i do not believe that animals have souls. Yes, they have a spirit, but all spirits come from God and will go back to Him, when the creature dies. I do believe many animals will be a part of God's Kingdom, but they do not have to gain their salvation as we do, for they did not sin...therefore, they do not need a soul. Do they have feelings? Yes, i know they do. So did the Lamb of God, Jesus, when He suffered and died for you.

I left because I didn't find anything of interest, plus I posted a question, which never got posted.  Anytime I post somebody and people don't bother to even inform me of why that is, i don't bother with them, simple as..

So Brother Shane 'thou art so merciful' you would eat a steak in heaven.  God must love killing cows.  Cows who give milk.  Sweet cows.  Would you kill your own mother?  Or did you kill your own mother after she breast feed you when you were a child?  You discust me.  Cows are the most sacred animal in the World.  It gives milk for all of HUMANITY. And what does HUMANITY do? It kills it.  Good way to show Gratititude.

Are you still reading? Or do you skip what I say?  You act like Jesus Christ is merciless.  What is the difference between you and a dog?  A god eats, mates has sex, has meat food. You do the same. Only difference is you have 2 legs and it has 4 legs. Thats the way i see you.  And you call yourself BROTHER Shane, like you are so merciful to all living beings.  Tell me how a Cow cannot have a soul?  How can a consiouss being not have a soul?  Look in a Cows eyes before its being killed you will see tears in it's eyes... is that false?

Is fire hot when you touch it?  It a cows tears simply imagination, will science prove it a false hood?  Oh nO thats just a checimal reaction. Why don't you admit your love to kill animals for the pleasure of your tongue?

You talk about also Krishna like you know EVERTHING about Him.  Have you ever read Gita?  I bet Gita is just as good as Bible if not better, because Krishna is speaking Himself.  You WILL not find any better scripture than Gita. Its teaches everything about God consciousness in 700 verses?  Can  'NORMAL' person do this?  Do YOU understand Gita? Are you still reading, BROTHER shane? I was expecting to talk to an open minded person.  Give up your false name, your nothing but a hypocrite.

Brother Shane <truebeliever_777@...> wrote:
You did not ask if we will eat meat in Heaven. You asked if we will eat animals in Heaven.

There's a big difference.

I don't know what all i will eat in heaven, but if i want to chow-down on a thick, juicy steak then i shall. Doesn't mean i will have to kill anything to do it. We will be as God...all we'll have to do is speak, and it will be.

Jesus Christ is God. The Bible tells us this in several different Scriptures. You just don't want to accept it because that would mean you'd have do denounce Krishna as your God.

There is only one Lord for me. The Lord Jesus Christ.

You keep saying that i don't follow Jesus.

The Bible is where His Words are recorded. All His commandments are there. He said, "...if you love me, then obey my commandments...".
Well, He said that he is the only way to salvation. So, why don't you follow what He says?

The trouble with people like you is, they only want to follow what doesn't offend them. If it suits your needs then it's ok. If it makes you feel condemned then you will reject it as nothing.

You came to my group wanting answers. You were given answers. From the Bible.

Anything else you want an answer for...since you're the one that came onto my forum and asked for an answer...then ran away when you didn't get the answer you wanted to hear...why did you even bother?
If you weren't curious to seek other answers then why ask? You surely weren't looking to convert anybody...or else you wouldn't have run off so quickly.

So, tell me my Krishna worshipping friend, what was your true purpose in joining my group, asking a question, then leaving when i gave you a Biblical answer?

Answer that with sincerety and then we'll call it even.

If you want to know more then i am here for you. My friendship is available to anyone that wants it...but no one can force you to be my friend. It's up to you.

Sincerely, and in the Love of the Lord Jesus Christ,

If you goto America they will say I am american, almost everybody is in this consicouness.  Jesus Christ to me is the Son of God, there is no need to imagine Him to be God.  He is God's representative.  I don't know why you don't follow what He says, instead of talking nonsence all day, and preaching about sinning, you kill animals, drink alcohol everyday.  This is food in the mode of IGNORACNE.  Fruits, vegis are foods in mode of Goodness.  And it seems you have a problem with Lord Krishna, I don't have any problem with Jesus, why is it you show your offensive nature, when so far I have not been?  Goodye

You cannot understand that God was a man, and at the same time God, in Jesus Christ.

Do you even know what the name Jesus Christ means?

Jesus (Y'shua): Jehovah (Father/Almighty Creator/I AM), has become our savior.

Christ (Messiah): The annointed one.

He has other names as well...

Emmanuel is one of them, which means, 'God with us'.

The prophet Isaiah said He would also be called, 'Everlasting Father' and 'Mighty God'.

The flesh was the son. The Spirit was the Father. That's why He told them, "...when you've seen me, you've seen the father..."

Read also I TIMOTHY 3:16.

By the way, Krisha is a Hindu diety. He did not come from America. Therefore, and according to your own words, that would make him a Hindu.

A devotee of Vishnu is not called a Vishnu or Vishnuite...he is called a Hindu. Regardless of where he lives.

If you're from America, well, America was founded by Christians...and as a Christian nation. That would mean, because you're from America, you're supposed to be a Christian.

But, you decided to forfeit your inheritance, for that of a Hindu diety. Therefore, you are now a Hindu.

Yes, a Hindu is someone from India...and the old name of India was Hindustan...but it's also a religion.
If you told a Christian or Muslim, living in India, that he is a Hindu, i think he'd beg to differ with you.

 Have a nice day.

Nityananda-Gauranga!

To be poilite was not my goal.  Only truth.  |You cannot change thr truth] Ever. Nobody can.  I didn't say Lord Jesus Christ was Krishna, Krishna is God, Jesus is representative of God.  This make us worship Jesus ts we can GOTO Krishna, that is the meaning of 'nobody goes unto God except thru me'.

You are created sectarian religion...  by saying Yours and mine.  Vaishnava is really very diverse.   It is about loving God.  I admit many Hindus have forgotten what Krishna is about, this is due to time.  This happens with all people.  That is why God sends his messangers every now and again to stir things up.

Somtimes God comes Himself, this happened 5000 Years ago, and also 500 years ago with the appearace of Gauranga Mahaprabhu, in Mayapura India.  Many Vaishnava regard Jesus as thier Guru, and gain an immence thought and knowledge about loving God from books like the Srimad Bhagavatam.  I admit the part about Hindus.  We shouldn't think Jesus would not want us to go further in our search for the truth.  Truth is to be found, wherever it shall be.  You must goto it...  lets be rational.  Also think about the Kingdom of God, do they eat meat there?  Are you not making your life geared towards serving Guru [Jesus]. ? We all should be serving 100%, its not easy to but we need to try.  Please don't be offended by what I say.  I am also not is USA. I am in UK ha!

And don't get caught up in trying to understand Jesus Christ, better do what he says, then automatically you will understand.  All this is He that or this, what many of you do is useless. Unless you have some purity you cannot possibly understand Him.  Only if God reveals then you can.  Jesus stated many times He serves God. So don't make Him out to be actually God, that is the most offensive thing.  But to say He is representattive of God and deserves same respect is nice.  Otherwise I am seeing that you all are turning into Impersonalists, many Christaians are turning to Athiesum due to lack of knowledge.  Just try and think about this, open-minded.  Jesus mercy is there for all. I feel it too.  I have been a Krishna devotee since my very birth.  And when I ask myself to Jesus shall I serve Krishna, answer is i need to follow rules and regulations and Worship. BOTH Guru and Gauranga, thats Jesus and Krishna.  If you follow what Jesus says that's following, theres no need to go around professing anything to anybody.  When Guru is pleased you will automatically know who you are, and who God is.  Then the love can flow.  Gauranga Mahaprabhu gave this love freely.  He was Radha-Krishna combined.  So anyway my point is instead of tying to understand by means of logic Jesus, it's better to serve His Vani [Instructions].  There's not much else we can do.  Jesus said to worship the Father.  This is what we do, but ignorant people don't see that Vaishnava is about serving Krishna 24/7 Not every Sundays.  It's to become fully God conscious.  Goto a Hare Krishna Temple and you will see.. or chant Nityananda-Gauranga!  All Glories to Lord Jesus Christ!

Brother Shane <truebeliever_777@...> wrote:

Hindu's from India are much more polite. They also speak with more wisdom.

Jesus says I am the way,  nobody comes to the Father except by me.  Who is the Father?   I will pray to Jesus Christ to bless you, so you can understand more about who the father is.  Christ is also derived from Krishna, Kristos.  And I also pray to Christ to bless me to understand Krishna more, and love Him.  Guru [Jesus] and Krishna.

Hey Mark! I have Leo ascendent and hence Mars is natural benefic..but
still can it be the reason for all the mishaps happening to me?? May be
being happy go lucky or just plainly reckless has its liabilities and
the old taskmaster is trying to teach yet another lesson of discipline
by introducing the harsh realities existing around.

Dear Vir:

Yes, you may be right about Mars being a natural benefic.  But, I know a lot of people
who have very good planets, but aren't always intune with 'them', so they end up
getting the malefic consequences.

There's the classic ex. of Exalted Saturn people, who sometimes are going through Exalted
grief, and there seems to be no reason, really.

But, upon closer scrutiny, I've discovered, though there, great Sani planet is potentially
strong, if they're not following it, then, negative results can come.

In your case, even though Mars is a natural benefic due to it's simultaneous rulership of the
4th & 9th houses.....it still may be acting malefically.....

due to it's close proximity to the Sun and Mercury in the 5th house.....

The best way to determine if any planet's acting malefically, is to see if the negative
consequences of 'it' are happening....

For ex. for Mars, if anger, fighting, or conflicts, even accidents, happens, these are the signs
of Mars acting malefically.

If one is experiencing grief, losses, ill-health, and delays and disappointments, these are more
unique Saturn malefic signs....

Like this, each planet has a signature of ill-consequences which will verify that it's acting
malefically....

Then, one can begin right away at balancing, transforming or improving that malefically
functioning planet!

sson of discipline
by introducing the harsh realities existing around..and what about the
violence occuring in the world rite now? Maybe there is some message in
tht too?

Yes, you're right.  In the transit reports that I write regularly I talk about the Worldly Transits.

Right now, Ketu & Jupiter are moving closer and closer into an intense, Planetary War.....

In addition, Mars has recently moved into Aries, where it's energy is more powerful....

and for a lot of people, this get's misinterpreted to be especially violent or troublesome....

What Jyotish teaches however, is to be balanced in all things,....or all planets....

And, then, one will not be violating any of nature's laws of nature.....

ciao

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

me understand why I hated going to bed on time, and not getting or even understanding the
importance of rest, and rejuvenation; then I began to make a conscious desire to better
understand Saturn!

Dear Mark,

I went to your Yahoo group

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturesAstrology/

and read the article on Saturn which was simply terrific! I could see how my negative Saturn was being reflected in my actions like sleeping late, pushing hard, being out of tune and creating stress for myself.

It's wonderful to hear you so clearly describe the benefit of being able to understand
one's planets, (and in this case Saturn), ....  more clearly.

Yours is a very great, positive, beneficial experience of the power and wisdom of
Astrology.

During my sadesati, when I look back now, I realize that things would have been so much more different if I hadnt pushed so much. The harder I tried the more balance I lost and things kept getting more out of hand. Patience is truly the biggest virtue that we can develop to offset a negative Saturn.

This too is a good experience.  In fact all Saturn moments, sade sat periods, Saturn dasas,
and even, Saturn transits, are all there, to show us how we're doing with Saturn, in this
example.

Too often, I think, people just think that life's Astrological feedbacks are just karmic.

However, once we've learned the lesson, say in the transits, then, future transits don't
have to be so negative.

I'll give you an example.

When I first started studying the stars, (Transits), I noticed every month, feeling very rough,
and almost depressive around the New Moon!

This initially was kind of depressing and made me feel very vulnerable and weak.

It helped a little bit when I looked at my chart and realized this might be due to my Sun & Moon,
only 1 house away from each other.

In other words, I was born with the Moon very small.

So, intuitively I thought, this negative transit, might be Nature, trying to tell me something.

I then began experimenting with what is the Nature of the Moon, and was there a unique
message for me, both in my chart, and especially in the pain of that New Moon, transit?

After awhile it also occured to me that the Moon's doing something to us, or with us, as it
plays out it's two Waxing & Waning cycles.

After awhile I realilzed that the Waning cycle just wasn't a cycle about emptyness, or weakness
of the Moon, as you often read about.

The Moon waxes and wanes, a lot like the daily cycle of rest and activity; at night and then,
during the day.

I realized that the Moon, when it's Waning, is encouraging us to go inward and rest.

You can even experience this, in your body.

Then, once you recognize or learn to give in to this quality, inside, then, you can begin to
notice, that the Waxing periods, are stronger, and more full of energy and dynamism.

Very similar to resting more deeply at night and enjoying that greater dynamism, during the
next day!

When I read your observations, I feel that they come more out of experiences, observation and especially, introspection. What makes you go so deep inside, I mean astrologically, which planet makes you so introspective?

When I was very young, I just felt very shy, and self-conscious with periods of worry, and
especially some depression, here and there.

That experience along with a strong spiritual 'seeking', helped me search for things like
Meditation.

I learned to meditate in college many years ago, (1970), and every day that I meditated, I
noticed feeling better and better!

Now, I understand that 'meditation' has a great potential for expanding and developing both
the Moon, & the Sun's in us!

Later, (1988), when I first began studying Jyotish I realized that that 'depressive', shy, part
came from my very small Moon in the 12th, (ie. Sun in the 11th house), along with a Saturn
in my 12th as well.

I think my Moon/Saturn conjunction does have the potential of being introspective....

However, ....
I think my Moon/Saturn conjunction, led me to be depressive when I was young, but because
my Saturn was acting soooo malefically, early on in my life.

I also have, however, my Jupiter in Pisces, in the opposite house/sign, in the 6th house, which I also think describes a fairly curious, and seeking quality goings on.

Then, as various remedial measures began to help improve my Saturn and eventually, even, my Moon, then the positive side of my Moon/Saturn conjunction started to become more available!

Your mind seems to probe and question each tiny thing with astrology and establish a connection. I find having introspective powers as a great advantage because if you dont question, you wont find answers. Also, does having a Libra ascendant help you in any way, particularly against Saturn?

I can't even begin to describe all the wonderful things that have come to me, since learning
to meditate, in the early 70's....

More wakefulness inside.  Less stress, more peace of mind, more expansion of mind, and each
day as one meditates, the mind has a potential to unfold!

This Moon/Saturn, with Jupiter simultaneous conjunction and aspect, I think expresses why I
have both a Moon/Jupiter nature, along with a Moon/Saturn nature.

Before I learned Jyotish & meditation, however, more of the negative side of the Moon/Saturn
conjunction dominated!

Your mind seems to probe and question each tiny thing with astrology

Ahhhh, this may be due to my Moon in Virgo!

Not a lot of great attributes to Moon in Virgo, hehe, too critical, seeing the faults, etc.
but once I learned to stop being so obsessive, and a perfectionist, then, more of the positive
side of Moon/Virgo started to pop up.

Also, does having a Libra ascendant help you in any way, particularly against Saturn?

I've found that those with strong Saturns, or as in my case, SAturn is Yogakaraka, because
of that Libra Rising; Saturn is verrrrrry important.

When I didn't get Saturn when I was younger, it was very wildly malefic, especially being in the
12th house, but as I learned to surrender, both in meditation, and later, with Jyotish, then,
the more profound and wonderful qualities of Saturn started to ....as if, pop up!

Best regards,

Sanjit

Nice talking with you!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

ps.... I think the greatest thing I've learned from Astrology/Jyotish, is that life is progressive!

Life is not just about our fates or karmas, but, even more importantly; about our opportunities
for growth and personal change.

And, like if we find ourselves under the grip of accidents or accident prone qualites; eventually
we begin to understand that 'Nature's' trying to tell us something!

Then, once we get it, "Oh, I'm going to fast!",

then we begin to change and even improve ourselves.

Now I understand the positive and negative consequences of our chart, or experiences in life,
are there to show us how we're presently doing with each of our Astrological planets!

ciao!

Happy Guru Purnimah!

July 21st 2005

One of the great traditions from the Vedic Wisdom is to celebrate the GURU,
during the Full Moon, each year in July!

So, today, offer your thoughts, prayers, and appreciations to all the Mentors, teachers,
and Gurus of your life.

From Teacher, to parent, to God, him/herself, Guru represents the 'teacher'.

The tradition also is that this day, is a great opportunity to receive from the Guru, due
to one's prostrations and appreciations.

Great boons are possible due to the Guru.

Christ was a great Guru!

So, enjoy this great fullness of the Moon, today, and give 'thanks' to the hugely important
"Tradition of Masters", that makes up the Guru Tradition.

Gurus, from time immemorial, have given out their wisdoms, by word of mouth, and through
that system of teaching, the fullness of Ved, is again available to us today, due to all the great
Gurus and their students!

Jai Guru!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

Remedies & Remedial Measures of Saturn....

Part 5

Saturn Series...

You know it doesn't really take very long to figure out whether our Saturn's are acting malefically or not.

The symbolisms or significations of malefically functioning Saturns are pretty well known.

I'll just list them, just for posterity!
hehe

But, the real Wisdom is in how to literally strengthen and improve the Wisdom of our Saturns!

Sign-posts of Malefic Saturns.

o   Tiredness
o   Delays
o   Frustrations...
o   loss
o   grief
o   dis-ease
o   disease
o   health problems
o   Imbalances of any kind

Positive Signs of Benefic Saturns...

o   Energy
o   Patience
o   Silence
o   Calmness
o   Appreciation of the time, necessary to unfold life..
o   Maturity
o   Discipline
o   Health
o   Stillness
o   Power of Mind, in that stillness
o   Vitality, long life!

I've often wondered why Saturn is so much associated with it's negative sides, today, and I realize part of the reason is exactly the life period that we're all in.

Vedic Knowledge calls the periods that Humanity goes through as the Yugas.

And right now, we're in one of those periods where Ignorance, Materialism, and everything, gross, and unappealing is dominating.

It's called Kali Yuga.

But, there are examples of those who have conquered or understood Saturn.

There's that book called:  "Saturn, friend of Foe", which brings out so many of the wonderful sides, and aspects of Saturn.

Saturn, indeed is the greatest friend in life.

It not only has a great role to play in our lives, however, it also has the thankless job, of pointing out our failings, our short comings, and where we need to improve and grow!

It does this through "problems".

All the problems of Saturn, (ie. it's maleific sides), are it's way of showing us how in-tune we are, with it!

Nature, however, is very kind.

Nature allows us to do whatever we want!

There's only one Rule, or Catch!

And, that is we're going to be help accountable for the consequences of those actions.

Therefore, we're free to stay up for 4, 5, even 6 nights in a row.

We may even have a great time, staying up late, watching movies, etc.

But, if we end up violating the laws of rest and activity, then, we may even get sick, in our wild pursuit of our desires.

Why?   Because Nature is evolutionary.  And, though Nature gives us freedom to choose, still, it's totally on the side of showing us, what is right.

And, though it may be very enjoyable to stay up late, feed the senses, and eat too much, still, Nature will not shirk away from showing us where we're not in-tune.

So, look at your malefic Saturn examples differently.

Look at them as Nature's feedback system, trying to help us through showing us, where we're not in-tune, or mistaken, either in our judgments, perceptions or actions.

Remedial Measures for Saturn....

Saturn Remedies

For me, learning how to improve and make my own Saturn, more Benefic, has been one of THE, greatest events of my life!

Perhaps because it's such a traditional malefic, but learning how to see and even unfold it's more positive side, is the greatest!

Perhaps it was because my Saturn was in the 12th house when I was born, and perhaps because it was with my Moon, which is bad enough, but also my 10th house lord.

Perhaps it was because my Saturn was my Yogakaraka, being the lord of my 4th & 5th...
But, whatever the reason.....

Now, I understand that there is a natural, benign, Benefic Nature of Saturn, which is really what Life, or Nature, or Saturn are trying to teach us, even if "in disguise".

"Blessings in Disguise", is a common expression, and comes often after a huge tragedy where we're forced to see the goodness of a situation.

I remember one time, when I was watching a CNN report and they were interviewing a man who'd just watched a tornado rip through their home town.  He was standing in front of his devasted house, and though he'd 'loss' everything, he had his arms around his wife and children, and said:  "I'm the luckiest man alive, because I have what is still dear to me!"

I thought of that, and realized this was a Saturn experience.

Through loss, we realize what is important.

So, we loose our health and get sick, but that 'lesson' is to teach us more, about the importance of Health!

We loose our job, or have tremendous debts and money problems, and Saturn's lessons, are there to teach us about something!

What is that something that Nature or Saturn seems so hell bent on helping us find!

The Benefic Side of Saturn!

What Nature wants for us, what Saturn is trying to teach us, is how to be more in-tune with Itself!

Those that already have Benefic Saturn's are already living those values.

For the rest of us, we're here to learn these!

Saturn represents Balance.

Saturn is happy when we're in balance.

When we're in balance, and we have achieved or are living a natural state of rest & activity; then our lives go smoothly.

We don't strain, we don't push too hard, and as a result our life stays poised and centered.

If we get out of Balance, even in just 2 days, then, Saturn is there to remind us.

We start to get a sore throat.  We start to feel the nodes of our neck are swollen or enlarged.
We will see the signs of imbalance, on the Horizon!

It's a warning to us, that we're getting out of tune!

Saturn is here to tell us, we can get what we want, we can fulfill our desires, by being more in-tune!

There are two ways to strive for the natural fulfillment of desires.

We can go for it!

We can do, and move towards those desires.

We can have them, and pursue them.

Which by the way, is the Mars approach to life.

Or, we can have them, from a level of inner quietness, steadiness and calmness.

If we act, from more inner peacefulness, then our desires may move forward more slowly but we'll be saved from the normal crashing and burning that too often results from going too fast!

Ever hear the story of the tortoise and the hare?

When I was growing up, I first heard this story.  It's the story of a tortoise and a hare which are in a race, together.

The hare, goes so fast, and obviously should be able to win the race!  The tortoise goes soooo slowly.

They both start out together.  And after a few minutes the hare is so far ahead of the tortoise, that he looks back and laughs!

"This is no contest!"    So, he stops, puts his feet up.  After awhile, he wanders off and looks at this or that, but the tortoise, continues on.

Slowly, inching ahead, one small step after another, not straining, just calmly moving ahead.

After awhile the hare looks up from his meanderings, and he sees the tortoise, way ahead of him.  How could this happen!

He rushes ahead to try and catch up with the tortoise, but it's too late, the tortoise has won!

Like that, pursuing our lives, our desires, dreams, goals and aspirations, can be done in either a balanced and natural way, or in a way that aggravates and pulls us out of balance.

It's not the desires that's the problems.  It's the way in which we have them!

Learning how to live our lives from a calmer, more deeply silent level is the way of Saturn!

Therefore Saturn reflects and rules over 'sleep'.

Going to bed early is a great way of strengthening Saturn.

Nature, re-calibrates itself, through rest and sleep.

Getting more sleep is the #1 thing we all could be doing.

Rest is the Basis of Activity!

How well we're rested is the key, to dynamic and successful, activity!

Restful alertness, is the key to the natural and non-stressful, pursuing and fulfillment of our desires!

Every day, there are a number of rhythms and cycles that we should be in-tune with.

Being More In-tune with the Daily cycles....

Going to bed earlier is just the first one.

Ayurved says, that there are 4 primary cycles of each day.

There's a Vata cycle in the evening, right before 10pm.

It's more ideal to be in-bed and sleeping before 10pm.

At 10pm, Vata turns into Pitta, and then body starts metabolizing the days foods.

If we're in bed, then this process goes on, naturally.

If, however, we're awake and stay up, you'll notice you can experience a 2nd wind after 10pm.

You may even notice that you're hungry again.  This is because you're moving into the natural pitta cycle of more energy and dynamism, even of metabolism.

However this cycle is meant for digestion, and not for staying up.

This cycle lasts from 10pm-2am.  Then, the body moves into a Kapha cycle which represents the deep cycle of deep rest.  This lasts from 2-6am.

Then, Kapha moves into Vata, and the body wakes up.  This is the ideal time to get up, but if you stayed up too late, and/or ate too late, then already your cycles are not functioning well.

Then, Vata goes from 6am-10am, when Vata changes into Pitta, again.

This Pitta cycle, however, is the one, ideal for the main meal of the day!

Pitta, including digestion is high, generally the Sun, which is the primary planet of pitta, is highest in the sky, so eat during this time.  This period lasts from 10am - 2pm.

Then, Pitta, moves into Kapha, from 2-6pm.

The cycles continue one after the other.

The more we're in-tune with these natural cycles of the day, the more smooth and easy is our day!

If we aggravate these cycles, then Saturn, too gets aggravated.

With each step of imbalance, Saturn gets more and more malefic!

Therefore, allowing ourselves to eat in time, to get up at the right time, to go to bed at the 'right' time, is a technique of Improving Saturn.

As we do this, even just leaning in this direction, will create a kind of natural flow inside, which will be very happy and healthy for the body and complete nervous system.

As this integration happens the result is that Saturn will get appeases, and balance and appropriateness will result.

This is part of the Daily cycle.  There is also a Monthly cycle.

Being more In-tune with the Month Cycle.

This is the Moon's cycle.  Every day, we rest and we act, but every month, there is another cycle.

When you watch the Moon, for even 1 or 2 months, you'll become keenly aware of two distinct characteristics of the Moon.

It's either getting bigger, or it's getting smaller.

These two activities, correspond with the Moon's Waxing or Waning cycles.

When the Moon's getting smaller and smaller, it's Waning and when it's getting bigger and bigger, it's in it's Waxing cycle.

When the Moon's Waning, you'll notice feeling less energy, you seem to need more rest, things seem to take longer, and more problems exist during this cycle.

Jyotish, traditionally says, that it's less auspicious being born, during the Waning part!

However, the truth is these Wanings are the time of the Month, when we all should be resting more.

During the last quarter of the Moon, especially, you'll notice that your body and nervous system feels like it's curling up, or hibernating for a long Winter's nap!

Allow yourself to 'go' with this cycle or tendency.

Allow yourself to plan on this, don't schedule so many strenuous activities, and allow yourself to rest more.

It's the main rest period for the entire up-coming month.

If you rest more, like now, on June 4th, we're only 2 days away from the New Moon, on June 6th.

This is an ideal time, to rest, to recuperate, to prepare for the next heavily busy Waxing cycle that will begin shortly after that!

If you rest more, during these last few days of the Waning cycle, like a good night's sleep, you'll notice as the Moon slides into it's Waxing phase, more energy, more dynamism, and more happiness!

If you didn't rest enough, you will have picked up more stress, due to straining against that natural cycle or phase of Nature, and as a result, future even the more positive, Waxing cycle will not be so positive.

So rest and act, with the Moon!

This prescription, will help you set yourself, to a more refined, balanced, level of Saturn, within you.

If you don't then, stress and tiredness will continue, and imbalance, and lack of profundity of Saturn balance will result.

Allowing yourself, to be more in-tune with the Moon, is itself, a technique of improving Saturn!

There is one final life cycle.  This is the cycle of the Seasons.

Being More In-tune with the Yearly Cycle!

Every day, because of the way the Earth rotates, we go through the daily cycle of rest and activity.

Every month, because of the way the Moon moves around the Earth, we have the monthly cycles of rest and activity.

Then there are the cycles of the seasons, which are due to the Sun, and the Moon, and the Earth all together.

Generally, as the Sun get's higher in the sky, during the Spring and Summers months, all of nature grows and we have the primary planting and growth periods for our foods.

This should also be the primary periods of activity and outer dynamism!

Later in the season, as the Sun gets lower in the sky, then, the Months move into Fall and then Winter.

These months are the natural periods of each year, when the rest phase of life is upon us.

During the deepest months of Winter, this is the time, when all of nature slows down, and rests from it's dynamic periods of activity, growth and harvest of the Spring and Summer months.

Now, is the time to rejuvenate, to recuperate, and revive.

If we rest more deeply during the Winter months, then, we're more enthused, and prepared for more dynamic and successful activities of the next year!

Be more in-tune with the 3 basic cycles; Daily, Monthly & Yearly!

As you become more in-tune you'll notice that your Saturn is stronger, and the negative symptoms or consequences of a more malefic Saturn start to go away!

Being More In-tune with Saturn, itself!

There is another way of strengthening Saturn and that can happen regardless of what part of the Daily, Monthly or Seasonal cycles, are upon us.

Following the Natural Saturn Dasa & Transit cycles...

In addition to the Daily, Monthly and Yearly cycles, there are also precise, specific cycles that are unique to each one of us.

Saturn Dasas....

During Saturn Mahadasa or medium or small Bhukti periods, this will be the time when we're meant to mostly get more in-tune with Saturn.

Though there are several exceptions.

If your Saturn's already balanced, then Saturn Dasas, may be more representative of achieving things though of a definite Saturn pace.

However, for most people, Saturn periods are the karma times, when we're meant, not only to experience the Saturn hardships or karmas of our lives; but, they're also meant to be the time, when we grow in the wisdoms of Saturn.

Saturn Transits....

There are also Saturn times, out there, in the environment, or in Nature, which are unique to the lessons and wisdoms of Saturn.

In Saturn Transits, we're meant to grow within the Wisdoms of Saturn.

There's the Daily time of the rest at night which is a kind of Transit.

There's that Monthly Moon cycle which is the rest phase of the Month.

Then, there are unique 'Astrological' Saturn transits, that can either be positive or negative.

Each month, the Moon moves into the same House, or Sign where Saturn is transiting.

This Moon/Saturn transit, represents a time, where we can either seek to be more in-tune with Saturn, or we're likely to experience the negative aspects or karmas of Saturn.

What I've noticed however, is if I allow myself to be more inward, to rest more, and be more healing oriented during these Saturn/Moon periods, that more common malefic side goes away.

Where normally people feel grief, and loss, and delays, frustrations and disappointments, these days are great opportunities for growing with Saturn!

If we allow our self to be more patient, silent, and still during these days, we'll find our own, Saturn sense, growing, within, too!

These days then, themselves can either be a technique of improving Saturn or ones of Saturn, malefic karmas.

Listen to what your bodies and minds are telling you.

Watch these cycles/transits, for 1, 2 months, and see if your Saturn 'transits' are positive or negative.

If they're more of the maleific, negative slant, then, surrender, to the possibility that these periods may be more healing for you.

What do you have to loose.   Try this for 1 or 2 months, and I'll guarantee, you'll feel better!,
especially during the next months of Saturn transits.

See, Saturn is trying to teach us 'when' and 'where' we need more inner balance, poise, and settledness.

If we move or flow with these opportunities, then Saturn gets strengthened, and then, even during future Saturn periods, you'll notice that you're more centered, within, and as a result, the time's aren't so cathartic but are deeply peaceful!

Finally, I'd like to talk about other specific things we can do, at any time, to strengthen Saturn.

Primary Saturn Remedies...

In addition to learning how to be more in-tune with Saturn cycles and timings, we can actually improve the internal dynamics of our Saturns!

Because Saturn represents health or balance then anything that improves our balance will improve our Saturns!

o   Yoga    Over the years, millions of people have become exposed to and practice the physical

postures of Yoga, or Asanas.  Yoga postures have an amazing ability to limber up the body, to create more smoothness in term's of it's physical nature and as a result Saturn get's strengthened!

The negative Saturn experiences of pain, stiffness, blockages, and ill-health, all, get dramatically improved by bringing more flexibitiy to the body!

o   Meditation     Meditation is the #1, one in which to strengthen our Saturns!   Meditation is

the mental technique where you sit down, close the eyes, and bring inner peace to the mind and body.  Even though this starts out as a mental technique, as the mind settles down, the body also has been found to achieve a very powerful state of deep rest.  As a result deeply rooted stresses and strains are removed or released by the mind and body, in this "twice as deep" level of rest as deep sleep!

Meditation also expands the nature of the Mind.  Have you heard that we use only a very small portion of our potential?  Generally it's thought that one uses as little as 10 or 15% of of one's full potential.   Meditation is a technique to literally unfold more and more of one's potential until the full potential is gained!

Each meditation  , each step of this inner unfoldment will unfold more and more of the Benefic characteristics of our Saturns!

Because Saturn represents Balance, as we unfold more and more balance of mind and body, then Saturn is one of the primary beneficiaries of this self-improvement.

Meditation itself, though it may not focus on any problems, still because of it's ability to unfold the literal, container of the mind, brings greater mental development and peace of mind, to each and every aspect of our lives.

See TM.org, for one of the most popular, widely available, and well documented techniques of meditation, today.

Knowledge is the Greatest Purifier!

Though this is a Consciousness Philosophy expression I find this very telling about improving Saturn, as well.

In other words, by contemplating the Wisdom of Saturn itself, one can literally, enliven and unfold more of the innate power of Saturn!

Saturn's Wisdoms...

o   Patience
By being more patient especially when one is feeling impatient, can literally enliven

more patience within oneself.

"Whatever You Put Attention On, Grows Stronger, in One's Life!"

o   Balance     By paying attention to whether one is balanced, is a good test for how in-tune you

are being with your Saturn.  Every moment you feel imbalance.  Maybe you're feeling tired, or confused, or upset, worried, anxious, etc.

Take these moments to alert you, to seek more BALANCE!

As you listen to yourself, what your body, minds and hearts are saying, follow the prompts of Nature and of Saturn.

Keep striving for more balance, until the negatives of lack of balance are gone!

Yoga, for the body.   Joy and meditation, and happiness for the heart.   And, discovering your life's dharma or Life purpose for your Soul!

o   Bliss      Bliss or inner happiness is the sign, ultimately for being in-tune with Saturn.

If you feel lack of bliss, or especially confusion, anxieties, worries, or lack of steady inner calmness or silence, then, this is a sign, that you need more inner Bliss!

Bliss is the sign of growing Saturn Wisdom.

Saturn is Shiva, and Shiva is the field of Unbounded inner Being, Awareness of the Self.

When we're not being enough in-tune with this inner life, then, lack of bliss will result.

If we're moving in terms of more and more, happiness and Bliss, then, Saturn is being appeased,
and has shown us his Positive, Benefic Side!

Higher States of Consciousness & Saturn....

Finally the last thing I'd like to say is:  as we move more and more in terms of developing our inner or Consciousness resources, we'll find, automatically our Saturns, more developed.

Saturn represents Enlightenment!

When we're in Ignorance, as to our true, inner, subjective, Spiritual Nature, then, Saturn is weak, and suffering and unhappiness are the result.

If however, we move towards Enlightenment, then with each step of enlivening Consciousness, then, Saturn patience, and inner 'glow', will result.

o       Experiences of Pure Consciousness

There is a place inside of each one of us, that is completely still, unbounded, full of all possibilities, and is the Home of Saturn!

As we look within, and find that inner 'Light', then the light of Saturn gets enlivened and we begin to live more Saturn joy and beneficness!

o       Cosmic Consciousness

As we progress along the path, of first discovering pure Consciousness, but then, later, learning how to stabilize 'it' in our daily life, then Saturn leaps out of the 'Transcendental' Realm, and into our practical, every day life.

We'll have flashes of this.  As pure Consciousness begins to be enlivened along with all our common, normally 3 states of Waking, Dreaming or Sleeping; we'll experience it, sometimes, as deep 'witnessing' of ourselves.

In these flashes of Enlightenment, when we are experiencing the completely still and uninvolved nature of Pure Awareness; but now, along with either Waking, Dreaming or even Deep sleep, then, we're having an experience of the Perfection of Saturn!

Unity Consciousness, which is described as the ultimate level of human evolution, is the final goal of Consciousness, and represents the highest value of living Benefic, positive Saturn, in life!

In Cosmic Consciousness, the silent, Saturn nature of the Self, is finally known, and being lived, is experienced 24 hours a day.   That's why it's called Cosmic, because the pure consciousness, is being lived, along with or inclusive of the 3 normal states of Waxing, Dreaming or Sleeping.

Then, Silence or pure awareness, or pure Saturn, are lived in their fullness, 24 hours a day.

In Cosmic Consciousness, that inner potential of silence and the mind, or Saturn is maximum.

In the growth towards Unity Consciousness, this growth of silence, first experienced in pure Consciousness, and first stabilized in Cosmic Consciousness, is now, perfected in Unity Consciousness!

Unity Consciousness is the highest level of Consciousness, and represents a complete Unity between the Inner and the Outer.

In Cosmic Consciousness, one's inner, Self, or "I", has been found.

In Unity Consciousness, that inner, I, or Self, or Saturn silence and perfection, now begins to spread out, and be experienced, in every wave, moment, and fabric or life in living, and the World.

In such a state, pure bliss is experienced, and unbounded, all possibilities is the result.

In such a state, Saturn has found it's maximum, positive value, and one knows oneself as the Self of the Universe.

One also experiences, that one can "Do", anything and accomplish, Everything!

In such a life, Saturn has achieved it's Full Potential.

Such is the range of Saturn from misery and losses, sadness, and ignorance, now, to the shores of enlightenment, the Self, and deep silence and Liberation!

Introduction
to
Nature's Astrology.....

7/17/05

Dear Friends:

So many new members have joined our Yahoo groups, recently, (over 325 since April lst), that I thought it might be good to send out more of an Introduction to myself and my Nature's Astrology.

My Background:

Since I was first 20 years old, I began a career in meditation.   I was attracted to meditating and very
quickly discovered that it had amazing benefits for most people.

As a result I became a professional Meditation teacher (1973) and taught the world-famous, Transcendental
Meditation (TM),  for many years.

I've taught 1,000's of people how to meditate and all about the complete Knowledge from where TM comes
from.  This is called the Vedic Tradition which is an ancient knowledge of Consciousness or Sciene of Being.

Over the next 10 years I became, also, very interested in the Vedic system of natural healing and health
called Ayurved.

In 1988, in fact I went to India to attend a world conference on Ayurved organized by and taught by his
Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the TM program.

After that I taught Ayurved to Physicians and provided Ayurvedic treatments and health instruction
for a number of individuals who were at that time under the care of doctors for a number of health problems.

Also, while in India in 1988, I was first introduced to the Vedic system of Jyotish and inspired to undertake
it myself.

Over the next 5 years, I spent most of my every waking moment studying Jyotish, but from the perspective
of the Development of Consciousness, which already I'd been practicing for 17 years.

After a number of years, I began to realize that there was a great power and practicality to Jyotish &
Astrology so I began to 'do' charts professionally.

Present Activities:

About 5 years ago, I began to 'see' that a new kind of Astrology was necessary in the World.

Since my habit was to study deeply the every day reality of the Transiting Planets, I began to realize that
there was a natural, real Astrology that was intimately connected to Mother Nature, already.

Eventually I began to realize that this Astrology, of Nature's was like, the 'Best' of both the Western & Eastern
systems of Astrology.

Later I came up with this title:  "Nature's Astrology", which is the real Astrology that's out there, in Nature, in the Universe, as well as living and breathing inside each one of us.

Finally, about 2 years ago I created a business called "Starlight Productions", which creates programs and promotes many of the various sciences of Vedic Knowledge including Yoga, Meditation, Ayurved & Jyotish.

Jyotish is an almost unbelievable Knowledge that has the ability to 'guess' or know what anyone will be like,
coming to this Earth, based only upon their Date of Birth information.

As it turns out, the Universe is Astrological and the science of Jyotish is an amazing true knowledge, which
some day will be recognized as a real Science of Astrology.

As many of you have already experienced, there is an amazing correlation between all the details and
qualities and characteristics of our lives, and the details and principles of our Astrological charts.

Jyotish understands this 'relationship', and includes the ability to know, #1, What we will be like, and
#2, what we've come to change and improve in our lives, as well.

Uniqueness of 'Nature's Astrology'.

Traditionally, Jyotish has taught that there is this amazing correlation between our Charts and the many
details and aspects of our personal lives.

I like to call this:   Astrological Understanding.

Even just knowing 'why' we're the way we are is an amazing knowledge and itself, brings many benefits
to life.

However, there is another aspect of Jyotish which is equally as important though in the most recent past,
has fallen into some lack of appreciation.

I remember when I first started studying Jyotish, in 1988, I would pick up a book and it would have 195
pages on the Jyotish Understanding part, and tacked on at the end, would be 5 pages on what is commonly
called Jyotish Remedies of Remedial measures.

Even back then, I realized that this proportion between Jyotish Understanding and Jyotish Remedies, was
way out of proportion.

Most books would have 90-95% of the time, talking about how our charts fit us, but only 2-5% on what we
might do about it!

Later I thought the proportion should be more like 50/50%.

It's very powerful and empowering to know 'why' we're the way we are, but, eventually it boils down to,
what can we do to improve our life's situation.

Now, I understand that one only needs to spend as much time understanding our chart's until we understand
'why' we're the way we are.

That may only take 5-10% of the time, and then, we can begin to focus on the many ways in which we can
literally, strengthen and transform any negative Astrological configuration or 'Malefic' in our charts, into
their more balanced, or healthy status.

This is the main uniqueness of my Jyotish.

That this aspect of Jyotish, remedial measures, is in fact, the most important part of Jyotish, and in life.

As a result, I have spent many years now, researching more, as to how to enliven this aspect of "Jyotish
Transformation" !

In all of our Yahoo groups, now, when you consider any and every aspect of your life, and or chart; ask your-
self 2 Questions.

#1      How does my chart explain why I am the way I am, or going through what I'm going through.

#2      Then, focus on the many remedial measures that are there to literally strengthen and improve
that functionally malefic part of our charts, so that those problems or challenges goes away.

Jyotish is a Technique of Self-Improvement !

Jyotish is the most profound knowledge of Self-Development in the World.

We live an Astrological life, and the knowledge of Jyotish can save us years of struggling, pain and sufferings
by helping us change those parts of us that are literally causing us our problems.

The main problem people experience in life, is because most systems of self-improvement are too general.

All people should be good, or all people should be moral, or all people should do 'this', to make more money!

The 'truth' for each one of us, depends literally upon the specifics of our Astrological charts.

One person should be more out-going, while another should be less aggressive.

The real solution to life's problems is a very specific, personal insight into each one of our charts!

Jyotish is a Powerful Knowledge of Self-Development.

Future Goals & Activities.

o   Presently, I am finishing my first book on Astrology which I call:  "The Stars Within".

It's main focus is on these 2 fundamental aspects of Astrology:

Understanding & Self-Transformation.

o   In addition to this I'm developing a business of Training Astrologers so that within the next 2 years,
over 100 new Astrologers will be ready to start making this knowledge available to the World.

o   I'm in the process of creating specific Astrological programs to bring this great knowledge to all the many
areas of life.

I've already created a program of Jyotish for RELATIONSHIPS.

I've also created a program for PARENTING.

Another for CAREER EDUCATION.

And one for greater success, FINANCIALLY and one for PERFECT HEALTH.

PARTICIPATION.

If any of you has any strong desire to become a professional Astrologer let me know.

Presently, I'm looking to attract 10 Associates, who not only would like to create a career in Astrology,
but also help train 90 more people over the next 2 years.

Any of you, who would like to work with me in my Jyotish business, also let me know.

Already there are many aspects to this new business, where you can participate.

Welcome, again, to all who are here to learn Astrology.

It's the greatest Knowledge that I've ever come across in my life.

Good luck and God Bless!

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid
