Since I've been studying Jyotish, now all these years I have to say
I'm looking at Winter differently.
After I became an adult, Winter seemed to loose it's charm, and when
I discovered Jyotish suddently I knew why!
Winter is Saturn!
All the words you hear associated with Saturn, cold, delays,
contractions, frustrations, retardation, hibernation!, all these are
great Saturn words.
No wonder I didn't like Winter, with the Saturn in my chart!, hehe.
Seriously, w/Saturn in my 12th conjunct with my poor Moon, I
certainly experienced all the classic challenges of Saturn.
Then, suddenly it occured to me, maybe Saturn, or life is trying to
tell me something.
Also, having Sani in my 12th has been another aspect of a wake up
call!
For most of my life I never seemed to have enough money, or more
debts!
But, again, I started thinking, maybe Saturn's there, not only
indicative of 'my' problem, but maybe Sani's trying to tell me
something.
Then, I started noticing those cute little squirrels, scurring around
the yard, come fall with nuts in their mouth, looking for some great
places to store their fruits!
Then, I realized, I should be like that.
I should certainly save more, and now, for over 12 years, I've
prepared so differently for the Saturn-Winter months.
Jyotish in fact, helped me learn that my thought pattern for saving
was very inadequate and as soon as I learned to desire that change,
my entire experience of debts, bills, and the worry and loss that
comes from all that began to change.
Now I understand that Winter is Saturn, and we can either be in-tune
with our Saturn's or not.
If we don't then, we struggle more during these months.
Everything slows down, cold, snow, and yet our bills dont seem too.
We need therefore to enliven the positive side of our Saturn, and
then, Winter can become the glorious bliss of Saturn.
If you're in-tune with your Saturn, then you'll have money, acorns,
saved from the spring and summer. You'll therefore not be so worried.
You'll therefore be able to be with the natural slow down of nature.
As a result you're not rushing so much, you're even more patient.
Since I've learned this one aspect of Saturn especially in relation
to my chart, my entire experience of Saturn has been transformed.
Some of the many things I notice I'm enjoying more now are:
Meditating.
Have you noticed that when it's cold, and overcast, the Sun comes up
later and goes down earlier, that there's a natural 'INWARDNESS'
going on?
Therefore take advantage of this Winter Saturn to enliven more inner
silence and bliss!
I'm hopeing that this email greets you all and you're all enjoying
the sweet, positive side of Saturn Winter!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
